  1. i just need to know how much itd be if i sent it in to ssa and got it reconed to a 15.

Normal recones are $140, this would be around $165 w/return shipping included in the lower 48 states

    Email: support@soundsolutionsaudio.com when your ready.

    alrighty thanks :)

  2. Well I finally got around to painting my enclosure. I went with a color match to the factory panels in the Yukon and a flat black on the ports. I am on the fence with the results. It is a good match as far as color, but I think it turned out kinda blah. Anyone have some ideas or feedback, I am open to suggestions.

This is one heavy ass enclosure. 49 1/2 x 28 1/2 x 27 1/2 double walled on every panel. I think my brother broke his nutz today helping me. Pussy. lol

I am extremely happy with the results of the switch from 15's to the 18's. The bass is still very flat and tight across the board. These subs just do not lose control. My system is very much Jekyll and Hyde and I am loving it. I can throw some Van Morrison or The Eagles, back off the sub level, and chill or I can level 15 the puckers and shake the doors with some R&B / Hip Hop. The subs blend perfectly with whatever I throw at them.

My wife thinks I have lost it with the huge enclosure I am toting around now, but hey.....I still have 6 seats even with the 18" twins. Life is good. :drink40:

    On to the pics......

    Still no video, but soon.

does it seem like theres any difference in sound with the ports so close to the hatch?

  3. well yea more cone area but the sub had a completely different sound.

the bl is based more on spl and the death row is more towards sq.

i felt that the death row was more precise than the bl.

and my buddy had an 18" bl and to me the death row was better all around.

  4. im bout to just build a whole other box. i only put one in and havnt even started on the other box yet.

or i was thinking just cut another piece and put it over the hole and cut the other one.

and i havnt put the second baffle on it yet so i might still be able to fix it?

  5. alright so im building a box for 2 15" LI's. the box would be 33" in depth which gives me 3 inches from the hatch on my jimmy.

i think i read on here somewhere that there should be a least 6 inches for it to load off whatever the ports facing.

the subs would be on top and port on bottom.

  6. turned out to be the fuel pump.... it was giveing like 22 PSI it should have been 38psi or some shit... i replaced it and not a problem out of it...

    thanks guys/

damn ive replaced two fuel pumps in my jimmy and it didnt fix it.
