You should come anyway, even if there is alot of people...and how would we know if a lot of people come when we get down there with no internet. Edgar why are your bls not moving? The box shouldn't be the issue.... I am thinking you wired yours subs to a 2 or even a 4 ohm load then. The box deffinetly isn't the problem, but I am bringing a drill and some bits so we can take subs out of boxes if needed!

I know this place on 35 south san marcos where I use to play paintball, smaller parking lot wit grass and rocks but we could problably do it there before lunch.....hold on I will come up with something....there are some abandoned warehouses or stores that arn't open on saturday we could do it at...I will find em on google maps real quick. We will be starting around 11 and thats for you "stayed up to late last night" kinda people. Just motivate yourself to get out of bed in order to meet up at 11....try not to be real late if you are having difficulties. Everyone can bring who, what, and anything they want.... just be appropriate for a casual meeting; no rainbow on bumper bull Sh!t! so it is JUNE 20TH, at 11 and located at McCoys hardware's new headquarters....2 blocks down from their old single story old headquarters. We will problably go to Pluckers for lunch since we men need to eat, haha..... BigJon was right, pluckers is the place for lunch.....especially for their salads!

Sounds good 81chevystep....matt we can do most of what you said, the older portion can break off and attend the booby bars after. But yeah, meet at a reasonable time like 11 or 12 and check it out, then eat, back to a cool spot to really bang away the rest of the saturday afternoon. Guys don't party to hard friday night! I want this to turn out well....I will be taking lots of pics also so bring some of the top notch swagga, haha!

I know I have a thread in Off topic about this meet but, I thought more people would see this if I put it in Announcements. June 20th (Saturday) will be a Central Texas meet in San Marcos at the McCoys headquarters. If yall are interested or have any questions pm me and I will give you my phone number to contact me at. Lets try to get as many people as we can...If you guys have any suggestions as to meet or what you were wanting to do then post em up. I was thinking we would meet, have lunch or not and just chill while listening to music and checkin out each others rigs while were in the zone.

I know there will be some empty industrial factory parking lots on Saturday so we should be in luck. Other wise I know we can go just a little north to a few places or south a few places. Its gonna be on the 20th of JUNE Guys! I Know that Edgar, Edward, Me, 2 guys from Austin and the rest of you willing to come will show up! Like I said the 20th (Saturday) of June is the date, lets try to stick to it. Right now the meeting spot is the McCoys Hardware warehouse on I-35 in San Marcos just because most of us know where that is at....I will get exit numbers soon for you from San Antonio and Houston. June 18th-22nd doesn't sound to bad....there is a car show around the middle of July that I need to prep for anyway so this will be a good time to meet up. Yall bring what you want, and we'll have a huge chill/music session (if the damned cops don't run us off again) haha! So can you guys see the 18th of next month being a good time?

I am free the last weekend of June as well as the weekend before hand; so there for I will be able to do it towards the end of June so put up your free weekend. I think that San Marcos is the best place to meet. By then we will have about 3 maybe 4 of us coming down from Austin and I know a few from SA will come up. It is the best meeting spot since most of us live 30 minutes away from San Marcos. Besides I wanna run a pass again with BigJons TL. Lets stay to plan and do it sometime around June 18-30 that would be sweet! Everyone plan around then. BigJon, whether you can make it or not we gotta get an official meet goin. So yall tell me weather it should be mid June or late June. Talk to yall later.

Doesn't seem to bad if you only build a nice rack or some boxes to clean it up a little and hide the wires, I admire you doing a car set up in a house though (no sarcasm intended) I kinda wanted to try this myself!

Hey Rodney, I would go with the Brutus 2600...actually I have one in use right now, and I love it! I have the 2610d. I had the 2608d and the 2008d and out of the three I like the 2600. Now like I said "for the money" it is a great buy! I got mine from (vminnovations.com) and it was 350 at the time but now it is 370 I think. Now if you have the money I would recommend the sundown amps! I have a few people that can vouch for me with my little system! It will get the job done just fine

So Edward and I drove down from Austin to visit our boy Bigjon, and it was chill....sat outside on a cloud less Sunday afternoon in the Lone star state and then had a Pass with the meter. Got to take a few pics before the cops came, Bigjon must have a police sense cause he was pullin out when the cops were pullin in. Other than that, I say that we should do this at least once every 2-3 months if not more often. I think you will beat him, but not by much...you need dynamat and lots of reserve capacity along with your alternator and wires and etc you then will be loud. you will do 145 right off the bat without tons of money poured into it. Remember this is one 18 you will have and what box and tuning will be done?
