    Tweeter Positioning

I think it was more to the tune of the airbags deploying and hitting the tweeters on the dash. I'll double check but ill definitely update you guys when the installs done! Thanks for the help guys!

    Tweeter Positioning

i talked to the tech guys at the dealership and they advised me not to put the tweeters on the dash or the pillars. Ill just be going with the sail panel to be on the safe side.

    Tweeter Positioning

I think im just going to put them on the dash, putting them on the sail panel and the tweeter would be insanely big and prone to rain gonna try and experiment with some velcro, would anyone know where the passenger SRS bag comes out? heres a pic of my dash

    Tweeter Positioning

I'm wondering if putting a grill on top of the tweeter would somehow decrease the sound quality coming from the tweeter ?
  6. i'm having a problem positioning my tweeter since my car is equipped with pillar airbags. My only options are in the sail panel, kicks or the dash itself. With the sail panel, my only apprehension is that when i open the door, the tweeters might get wet when it rains ( by the way, comps are RE XXX6.5's so the tweeter is pretty open ) If i put it in kicks, i might damage the tweeter since it has no grills The other option is the dash, but I'm wondering if this is advisable. I was thinking of putting it in a fiberglass pod enclosure, something like this Is it generally better to make the tweeter face upward or towards me or towards my rearview mirror ? I'm using an Alpine 9887 so i might be able to play with the TA a little. If you have any pictures or references, i would be eternally grateful Thanks
