Denim, give me your max workable dims and I'll get something to you by morning. Funny thing is, I just burned all my test enclosures about a month ago. Oh well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> testing being done in the explorer so space is not an issue, so I think I will stick with the 1.5 sealed anyway and 2.0 ported maybe <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Please throw a couple 2x4's in ther to knock it down to a cube when you get done testing the 1.5ft. I already have my box built and upholstered so i need HELP!!!
-
Its a little bigger than a shoebox, lol. But if you could get it around .9-1ft i would owe you big time.
-
My box is even smaller and custom built which is my problem. It's .9ft gross but any review you can give me will help a ton.
-
I'd like to request one of the people demoing the sub to hook it up in a small sealed box and give a review. I'm stuck between the rl-p 12", avalanche 12", and the SI 12".
-
I think i'm out as a maybe, i've decided to wait for the avalanche 12" since i really don't have any cash at this moment.
-
I'm a very strong maybe right now. I got my amp and now i think i've decided. How long do we have and can i get a signature on mine if i get one?
-
Set the gains conservatively, and you should be good. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm always conservative on gains and no bass boost. I'm afraid to overpower though because i'd rather not reach the subs limits. If i get the ok from mike put me down as a maybe. If i gt the amp tonight as planned there shouldn't be any problem.

I'm working on getting a memphis belle which puts out 1100w @1ohm or 600w @2ohm. Would it be safe to run a dual 2 rl-p in a .88ft (not including sub displacement) sealed box.
-
Wow, quick response. I guess i could always mount inverted if the depth got out of hand. I'm selling all my stuff right now to pay some bills i'll be saving up on the side.
-
What sizes will be available? Hopefully some 12"s will be available. I know its early but will these subs have a mounting depth that is somewhat large like an IDMax or TDX?
-
I'm gonna stick with the IDMax for a while. I just bought an ed b6 12" to play with, too.
-
I am probably about to purchase a new 12" or pair of 12"s. What can you guys tell me about the si's and their ability to function well in sealed boxes? Thanks in advance!! Btw i've got an ed nine.1 for power and i currently have a single 12" IDMax, looking for more output without losing sq.
-
Well i would like to try one of the new versions but i'd really like a new sub(s) in the next 2-3 months at the latest. The Idmax handles everything i've thrown at it well although it could use a little more airspace. Anyways the main info i need is price, mounting depth, rms power, and rec. sealed enclosure volume. Thanks again, Joey

Well if any of the reps see this i would like to know some more info on them. Any used subs out there for sale?
-
Me and Steve know about some upgrades!!!

I guess i better hold off on my order then. When can we expect the news? -
I think either setup would sound great although the 2 12"s will probably get a little lower. Thanks for the help.
-
I think people will agree with me that the 2 RL-p 12s would be a sweet set up, what amp are you planning to run, and what sound are you aiming for? oh and welcome to SSA <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've got an ed nine.1 that i would run a 1 ohm so about 700w per rl-p in the recommended sealed box. I've got a single IDMax 12" now and i want something louder without losing my sound quality. If i got the 3 rl-i 10"s they would get about 400-425w each. This is going in a regular cab dodge ram and i have the IDmax downfiring and i really like having the subs mounted this way so the ss would also be downfiring.

I'm looking at either a pair of the 13ov.2's or a pair of the rl-p 12"s but i can't make up my mind. I've also considered 3 rl-i 10"s. I've got an ed nine.1 for power so i have plenty of watts for any of them. SOmebody help!!!!
