  1. ah.. i kinda red plug and play on this site http://dealnay.com/1049329/xenon-hid-d1c-d1r-d1s-headlights-light-bulbs-blue-10000k.html

i can kinda see now it keeps saying BULB....

here is the problem i am haveing... the headlight is a all in one.. incased deal.. and it had 1 9 pin plug in for each side. an you can see in the pic circled ....

so i would have to drill the back cover of the headllight cover, so i can put the wires out.. to power the ballest.. then run the hot wires back into the headlight cover and hope like hell i can get it sealed again.

and i have to do it twice on each side.. for high and low beams.

I have the exact same problem on my rover. The beams are sealed. I found some lenses that weren't sealed just for HID kits, etc. I'm not sure about Lincolns, but I bet you could find a set somewhere.

  2. pain, pain go away

Yes please! I am ready to go to a hypnotist to see if that will help or perhaps acupuncture.

I've seen a hypnotist act one time. He hypnotized a group of people and made them do a bunch of stuff. It was really interesting.

On another note, it seems C A C O has really gone down the drain. I was looking forward to maybe doing some sales and stuff over there, but not any more. This is the BEST forum.

  3. I replace my oil filter every 6months and replace the oil every 12months.

Last year I switched to mobile one oil, but still use the amsoil filter.

Oil change every 3k and new filter every time.

Glad all is well dutch. Sorry about the mixup

It's good. Just happy to have everything straightened out.

  7. I want daily 2 ohm and I know the 12volt.com that's what I used to make sure everything was correct but I keep coming up with. 7 ohms at the amp

The coils are on two different sides of the sub. Wire one positive on one side to one negative on the other side. Now connect the remaining positive to the amp and the remaining negative on the other side of the sub to the amp. Should now read higher. Good luck.

  8. Depends on the sub and how it's made. Take Fi for example: There is a daily or SPL option. The SPL option has a much smaller gap. Playing music on the SPL option may cause coil rub, which will eventually ruin the speaker. They are made for playing single tones for short bursts. Some speakers that are SPL oriented also follow this rule of thumb. It all depends on how they are manufactured. If you are curious about a single speaker, then do some research on it or post up a question. Hope this helps! :)

  9. Okay, so when you wire three subs together, there are always weird impedance numbers. It's never a solid one or two ohm. It's always some strange decimal.

    Example:

    3_2ohm_dvc_134ohm.gif

So I was wondering, what if you wired, say, two dual 1's together for a 1 ohm load, then wired a dual 2 to a one ohm load and plugged them all into the amp, would the third sub be in phase or all out of wack?

I just want to know if this will work out, because then you have all three subs together on a solid 2 ohm load.

EDIT: Just to clarify, the 2 dual 1 ohms subs and the single dual 2 ohm sub are wired completely separately and then the two sets of leads are plugged into the amp for a solid 2 ohm load.
