  1. Pretty much

I started a family, bought a house, and travel for work. So I end up getting zero time for audio, plus the financial cost is something I really can't stomach anymore.

I have a pair of Icon 12's and an IC2200.1 in my Malibu but that's as far as I've gone and will go for probably awhile.

Any DSLR mic recommendations?  Shooting family and kids, not concerts.

I've personally used this Sony Microphone and its excellent, its pretty great all around and if you do want to use it in a loud location it does not get overwhelmed very easily. I actually used it to record car audio videos, it withstands 160+ dB no problem but is sensitive enough to pick up everything clearly in a quiet location.

Mine as the inverted dust cap..the new ones have the standard dust cap i believe

IIRC they are the same except for the cap change, there might be some minor soft part changes but it shouldn't affect much, If you wanted them to match I would just recone your old one and then purchase another woofer.

I tried like HELL to buy a pair of shoes today.  No one fucking carries ANYTHING in my fucking size.  I give up.

    Stop being a giant?

That being said finding shoes for me is a nightmare, I have average size feet but they're a bit wider.. to add on to that my right foot is slightly wider. So I end up with one loose shoe or one shoe too tight.

  5. I'd like to get a suit made out here in Tunisia, you can get one made for about 200 dinar which is under $90 but I'm horrible at picking out styles. I'd like to get one nice suit so when I'm in training at Harris I can be a cut above the other people there.

Hey brother, thanks for posting !!! Long time no chat !!!

To be honest, If I was going through that much trouble for strong bass, I'd just yank the rear seat, tool box, and bed liner to cut in a blow-thru like i did with White Lightning. whatever i do, it's got to be stealthy !!!

Hey man! yeah it has been!

heres an example of what I'm talking about

Yes Sir, these doors are interesting to say the least. Wasn't what I was thinking they were when I bought the truck. Should be able to make it work.

Still working on the angles for the tweeter locations, but will be able to tell more about them when (if ever) I get the amplifiers hooked up. Things have been known to change when being tuned active.

As for sub bass, haven't gave this much thought. I'm VERY limited with room and I'm not cutting any metal with this one.  I'm pondering ideas about 8s in the rear doors or 10s somehow under the rear seat. I'm also thinking about finding bucket seats for a central console enclosure.

I'm all open for suggestions !!!

How much space do you have under the rear seat? If you can weld/fabricate you could make risers and extend the height of the seats for more clearance. Is it a bench seat or a 25/75 split? If so you could pull the 25% out and build an enclosure there.

Also, do you guys think the Ampere 3500, or 2k would be a good match for a 12" inch evil? I would imagine the 3500 would be plenty, but what about the 2k just to get me up and running, and strap another 2k later? Right now I have about $1400 I'm gonna set aside for a sub and amp. Also this is going into the trunk of my 2012 chevy Cruze. Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask, just trying to get some opinions as I haven't ran much of this new stuff. Don't want to order products over a stack and them not be ran properly.

Personally I would prefer one amp over two, strapping amps in my experience has always been  a bit of a hassle. The Ampere 3500 would be an excellent match for an Evil, I can personally guarantee you that the Evil can take MUCH more than rated as long as you're smart ;).

As long as your electrical is solid there will be no issues there!

So motor is unchanged? gap sizes and all?

Motor changed but the gap size stayed the same, I myself have a first gen XCON and I spoke with Aaron last week about getting a recone and he told me that the soft parts are similar with the spider setup being different and the coil sizes the same.
