you know what i noticed about this.. it says rubber adheasive.. no were does it say CA , and there is no activator for it .. i dunno if it would do the job.. maybe for surrounds and dust caps..

why not just do 4 smaller 15s? so that way you have more motors/coils and not burning them up all the time. those D3 are dirty and wil be hard on whatever you get . i would stear cleaer of the atomic. George makes good product but very much lacks in customer service.

holy crap thats cheap!!! i wonder how good it works for real woofers. im sure glue needs for most DJ and concert speakers is a bit different than an 18 playinf 30hz with 3kw on it ..have you used it for neck joints?

yeah the port will be finished off. and considering some nice mesh to cover it and clean it up a bit. Im not 100% happy with the sound being in the back like it is.. not sure how long we will keep this set up around. it dont suck my no means.. its pretty decent, just not what i know the set up can do.

hey .. could i ask a favor.?? any chance of measureing at the b piller on your truck? floor to roof? im thinking about doing one of thse for 100% spl . dunno how well i can stack 18s..

its good stuff. Id say closer to the best "mainstream" product you can buy. but not better than any of our online based companies. but better than the normal dealer based RF kicker Jl etc etc . most likely why the stuff is more expensive it because they use dealers instead of the internet ..if it was sold on internet forums im sure it would be cheaper. but, its good stuff

yeah i knew he has replaced alot of the amps. but the 200.1 is not 3700w either.. he told a friend the other day that the 150.1 will make 3300w.

with all the mat in the doors. some nice 6.5s would give decent mdbass.. but the bigger speakers would just look kool.

just get a 1ohm amp and run it at 1.33 i doubt you will see massive loss in output. and if its a pretty fiberglass box output is mostly likley not the most important anyway. most 1000d run at 1 ohm.. so 3 250w rms woofers at 1.33 should be just fine. OR get a 2ohm amp and hope it likes 1.33ohm OR 3 small 1ohm or 4ohm amps.

i know the 200.1 is the same as alot of 3000s out there. but Bob is claiming its 3700w lol and the new 150.1 does 3300w? last i remember the 150.1 was no louder than a mojo 2000 or crossfire..

we have used the devcon 5min apoxy for years. its cheap, easy to find and works great. i like it much better than CA. just be sure to get the 5min apoxy with the twisty tips. i dont know the part number off had, but i can find it .

Id say BTL as well. I never cared for the AQ/DDish sound. Seems like no matter what they sound like they are in a small high tuned enclosure.

i just think that the port back is punchy and boomy sounding . but IMO all up is a depper flowing bass like jeezy and stuff has in it . common chamber should be fine. But id get away from the 4 inch ports and just get 4 6inch. or yes 8 4inch

i dont think i would use all those dowls.. just a couple of the large diameter ones should be fine.ive had good luck with them or even just 2 2x4s, i dont think all the 45s in the corners will help your problem

i had just at 10 cubes for my 2 15s in my 95 explorer and it slammed a 4inch port is just 12.56 of surface area so im thinking 4 16inch would be much nicer in there "guessing" ..around 16inches long. i had 2 kove armageddon z which might not me much different a woofer? i do as close to 5cubes for my 15 boxes as i can. also in suvs i run my port up for music boxes . if your heart set on a rear fire port make sure you have room between the enclosure and the tail gate.

got the trim all wrapped up, still need to do some cosmetics on the port. But its prety much done untill he gets new batts and amps in the back.

the way the enclosure is laid out i doubt 2 2x4 or like a 4inch wide piece of 3/4 on each side of the woofer would hurt much. Im not sure how you would use threaded rod with out the nut poking out the top and bottom, you cant have that if you dont have room for another layer on the bottom.I dont think the issue if in the corners . The bottom is a pretty large surface with no bracing. Id say brace the bottom to the baffle and leave it . or try to squeze a 2nd layer to the bottom.

How come you want it tuned to 26hz? And if your heart is set on 4inch ports, your going to need like 7 of them ??. Are you just not sure you can handle building a slot port or just dont want one?
