sundown is a bit less than rf, for the price of there 2k amp you can get the saz-3500 i cant say ive had my hands on a lot or rf amps except the t4000 but again if price is an issue sundown ftw

to tru^^^ but still some are cleaner than others, and having to clip to get rated= bad for the woofers

one thing about ap and aq is the power is not as clean, with aq you have to clip the signal a bit to get rated..... i know ive used them, also the saz1500 can put out more than an aq 2200 also cleaner, im running my 1500 at .66 daily and never gets more than warm, while aq's get HOT. they are not bad amps just not as good as sundown and dj is a great guy but side by side sundown wins**** also i have had my hands on the ap 3000 again not a bad amp for the money and will do rated, but gets hot and not as clean..... if it sounds to good it most cases is

also if it twice as dense wouldent it be close to twice as heavy? i would just use 1" mdf or 2 layers of 3/4

when putting a box together dont screw close to the ends ie stay 2-3in away or it will split. problem solved!

im running 3 d4 sa-12s on a saz-1500 daily, amps stays cool just make sure you have the electrical, one extra bat should be ok

the imp rise is box/car dependent but from what ive seen sundowns sa line has a low rise,...... im running at .66 daily man lol amp doesn't even get hot i ran for 2 hours almost full tilt on the way to my demo yesterday and have had no issues, just find the right amp and you will be ok

unless you have a used one lined up man the are out of production.... 2500 is the replacement ...... also jaycee does have very valid points, i dont want to make it seem fool proff

also does great on rock, i was surprised with it being tuned so low, drums just kick you in the chest its great

well unlike what jaycee said, i dont know i havent clamped on music, but right around 1500 im guessing after box rise..... blurred vision hard to breath..... good times lol louder and sounds better than the 3518 i ran last year.... i need to clamp but from the conversations i have had the box rise is very little but that is box dependent

well when the next step up is a couple hundred you tend to get what you can out of an amp...... also anybody who has run sundown amps has confidence in .5, also like i said as long as the amp isent beaten to shit, under voltage ect jacob taks care of his customers

you could get a couple tenths, if competing go ahead, do you have the electrical to back it up? if so go for it , but like i said dont clip it it wont like it

i have used the klmx, it is ok but i would spring for the flex, i just ordered 50ft for my truck and it was only 180 shipped

im running my 1500 at .66 and it loves it, just dont send a clipped signal and give it the power it needs and you will be cool, also as long as your not abusing the amp, jacob will take care of you

dude your going to love them, im running 3 in a 4.4@30hz and it plays all music well and gets pretty loud, have fun man

ya just need to order the other 3 lol, just applied for 2 different battery sponsors xs power and interstate battery's so should have the hook up soon hehe. the three i have now are going into a 99 cavy 4dr back seat is in the middle of getting walled for 6 sa-12s, dono on amps 1500s or 2500s mabey single 4500 class limit is 4k clamped. but the box im using for them now is going to have 3 z.2 12s on 2 2500s........ thats my daily hehe
