    ordered my subwoofer yesterday.

    Hopefully I get it before the meet.

    Still gotta buy a good set of RCA'S though. I ordered some from knukonceptz but they came out too short. Fuck spending another 13.99 when the 4m cables only cost 3.50 more

    im almost done with my box and well today i got a speeding ticket on a school zone :peepwall: so 250 bucks wasted

    hopefully they use the money to fix the roads :captain:

    RS Customs is doing my box right now. Should be getting it sometime by the end of this week.

    Also gettting alot of my supplies from knukonceptz from ups tomorrow.

    Ill make a build thread soon or post pictures in here

    Nice what kind of equipment are you putting in your car?

    Well right now this is what I have

    alpine mrp1000 1000watts at 2 ohms

    infinity 4 channel amp

    alpine type r components-powered on 75 watts

    ratltle trap sound deadening- 100 sq feet

    pioneer premier- DEH-P8MP

    RS Customs is building me a box for a FI 12 BL Ill be ordering this week tuned to 33hz subwoofer up port in the back. Im driving a 2002 acura RSX

    In the future i plan on replacing the alpine with a sundown amp and replacing the pioneer deck with a premier 800prs

    yup their good guys they made my first box too. i still have mine. this time i wanted to do it myself :drink40: and i went with a quite bigger box :fing34:

    yeah i see you have 2 18inch bl's. I heard jacobs 2 12 bl's and them thanghs was extra loud. I could feel the air from the subs all the way in the front seat and the bass all in my chest.

    I know you must be cracking windshields with 2 18's

    If you cant reach your altenator then you can go on craigslist and find a local mechanic that can do it for cheap.

    I found a I guy to do it for $45, Tried regular shops and they were saying they would charge me $80 an hr for labor.

    But thats only because in my rsx you have to remove the intake manifold to get to the altenator. Too much work to me.

    Damn reminds me of the time I bought a amp off of ebay from this store and I waited until like a week before college was starting back up to get all my stuff installed. well It takes the guy from 10am to about 7pm to install everything in my car abut then something goes wrong. When he tried to hook up the 4 channel amp it kept on going into protect mode. Found out the amp was dead on arrival. So it cost me another 30 bucks for me to send it back to the store off of ebay I bought it from then it took them 2 months to send me back a brand new amp.

    Very frustrating I will never buy car audio from ebay ever again.

    and yes they did get negative feed back

    Hey yall I have a question about the subsonic filter on my amp. on the alpine website it says the subsonic filter is "fixed" to 15hz.

    I plan on getting my subwoofer box tuned to around 33hz. What do I need to do to prevent my subwoofer from bottoming out? Get a inline crossover for the amp? or just stick it out until I get a better amp with a subsonic filter on it?

    We're coming up on 4 weeks away.

    I'm thinking we should get together at the final destination of the last year's meet. It was just outside of the Hays County Civic Center ( 1249 Civic Center Loop, San Marcos, TX 78666 Mapquest it). To put it shortly, the middle of nowhere.

    It was a little tricky to get there so we should meet at the old target parking lot where we had the mini meet. At the corner of Thorpe Ln & Springtown Way in San Marcos Tx. From there we can drive to the fairgrounds and blast our stereos. After wards, we can go eat somewhere.

    Thoughts and input please.

    im trying to think of which target your talking about. cause Theres that one over there by the outlet mall and thats pretty much the only one I know.
