  1. yeah i seen that thread too when i was going through there forum.

Seems like the ssa and sundown brands have alot of haters on that forum.

seen a dude shit on the xcon saying it was a sub standard subwoofer that wasnt worth the money being asked for it. Needless to say i laughed and went to searching for good sales again

  2. Hi so I am currently setting up my first system for my 09 corolla. I'm trying to choose between the Q15 or BL15. I know the Q is more SQ and the BL is more SPL but....

Which would be better for a daily driver listening to Hardstyle, Dubstep, Techno, Hiphop. I do want it loud but don't want distortion.

The Amp would be a AQ1200

    Thanks

    BL

  3. car looks great man.

Wish my father was into cars and car audio like this when i was youner

watch out for that fatmat though. I recently had to call them cause my fatmat extreme has been falling off the doors and melting. Have yet to get a response back from them.

  4. They take ONE electronic component, put it in a housing, and sell it for 10-100x what that component costs. Nothing hard about just buying said component instead.

i just figured it be more cost effective for me since my amp has a fixed sub sonic filter at 15 hz. They have a f-mod that cut's off everything below 30hz and my box is tuned to 33hz so I thought it'd be perfect. Compared to buying another amp period

If that is all you can get for now until you can get a better external SSF or an amp with a variable SSF then go for it, just my .02

you mean something like this? PFMOD HP-Sub

or something else? which i dont know what that could be...

  6. Hi guys,

I've been driving a lot more now and I was looking to get some better sounds since my current set up is factory.

I'm hoping to spend around $600 NZD (~$400 USD) on it all.

Here's what I've been looking at so far

    Amplifier

    Speakers

    and

    or

    Head Deck Unit

    or

    or

Please note all those prices are NZD so they will look a bit higher then what you're used to if you're from USA.

If I did get this stuff, would it all work with each other?

My car is a Mitsubishi RVR, and I'm not exactly sure of the speaker sizes, any one know? I measured about 15.5cm for the rear, haven't checked the front speakers because I wanted to see if anyone knew before I removed the panels.

Can a 4 channel amp power 6 speakers total? 4x6" and 2 tweeters?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers.

i dont know what size speakers fit your car but for the price of those type s speakers you could find some alpine type r coaxial s and find a type r component set for the same price of that fusion component set.

What kind of sound are you trying to produce?

are you only just looking to replace stock?

  7. Alright, well it looks like I will go with the alpine. Has anyone ever used Alpines "Imprint" software/mic with their HU's? Does it make a big difference in sound quaility?

i was told on here it was just a marketing scam to basically make you believe you'll get better sound by using "their software".

You can just tune the deck the same way as the software would. I guess it just takes a longer time.
