    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

I think this is how I want to teach myself to shoot. I mean I could go extremely expensive and get the Zeiss 24-70 f/2.8 but I don't see the need yet. Maybe when I have $2200 to spare... lol

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

I know I know... I learned that lesson with that camera setup but I usually only have that lens on for day shooting... zoo, aquarium, day-hike, so I didn't need to have much else besides a telephoto with me. I want to accomplish similar but I don't mind having to carrying one or 2 extra lenses since the size/weight reduction with the mirrorless camera. For now I just need to get more creative and learn the functions within this camera and setup the shortcuts to make my everyday shooting a bit more convenient than digging around the menu.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

I know what you're saying there as far as compromise with a "walk-around" lens.. I think I want to force myself to get used to using the primes as I know how amazing quality can be especially now that I am on a full frame camera finally. Currently with the camera I picked up a 28mm f/2 which Sony sells an add-on that allows me to go either 16mm or 21mm obviously 21mm isn't a huge difference so I ordered the 16mm adapter. Julian on my a77ii I was using the Zeiss 16-80 almost daily which had me spoiled for range but wasn't fast enough in all situations. On full frame lenses just are more expensive which I knew going in but I'll have to learn the camera with the 28mm for now. And maybe get a nice 14mm or go longer and get something in the 70-90mm range for insane sharpness when needed.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

I need to find me a good lens for the a7ii .... sad that there isn't anything but "sports" quality lenses which you can't walk around with or only primes which I've found annoying to walk around with

    Advice on budget Receiver

I used to have my Xcon powered by a Crescendo bc3500D.... so your AQ2200 should be perfectly fine if you recone to a 15". Too bad your 12's are no bueno I could've had use for the smaller size. My Xcon has always been in a sealed enclosure slightly bigger than recommended at 3.28 cubes for a little lower extension. It was amazing since my camry had a huge trunk. Now I have Mazda 3 hatch and need to find smaller amps to power the beast and also shrink the enclosure by quite a bit so I still have storage. lol

    Decisions?

The idea of 1 18" sounds very sexy but like was said 2 12" may give you better overall experience. I've never competed so take that however you'd like I just like 1 sub setups myself.

    Advice on budget Receiver

great update man! I personally have a Sony rcvr since I wanted more connections/home theater usage without breaking the bank. It is 7.2 and I currently am powering 2 towers and a center made by Canton (most don't know that name) . As well my setup has 2 Canton subs which work great together but I'm usually only using one at a time depending on what I'm doing. For movies both sound pretty great but music one of them just can't handle the output some of what I listen to has.

just to repeat and illustrate by "proof" or "evidence" .... since you were unable to provide any at all with yours. You bought from what I can only assume was an "authorized retailer" ... maybe it was NEW condition but you didn't pay retail pricing cuz you dealt with a craigslist style vendor.

clearly I was just trying to sell a barely used item at a lower price than retail. Nowhere can I find this new iphone 7 plus for less than what I have mine for... To be quite honest I can find valid info to contradict your claims man. Just saying.

not pissed or anything but by continuing to post without any interest in the device is a bit against the classified rules. But I do thank you since it has kept it coming to the top...lol either way you've not posted where you see that price because if that is readily available at that price and you can send me the link then I'll adjust mine so I can sell it already... thanks!
