  1. I ride and bump quite a bit, but its when Im on main streets in traffic, not in residential areas, or late at night on week nights. Ive never been pulled over for my bass, they did come to my house once after I had been making yt vids in the driveway, he was cool though so now, I talked to my neighbors and bump when there not home, and keep it turned down for the most part. Its better to keep your system low though in residential area's just to avoid being a nuisance

  2. Ive heard 2 Platform 3 18s, in a crappy box off of a AP 3000d with bad voltage. They got very loud, but the box was so shitty it was really holding them back. Ive had PSI rebuild my BTL 18 (there local), and its held up and performed great.

Thanks for info!! :fing34: I heard that if you send any sub to PSi it will come back better & louder than b4. Is that statement true in your case when you got your BTL rebuilt? What upgrades did you get from PSi?

I don't know if I would say that, but I know of quite a few people locally who use PSI and are very happy with there products. I can also say that when Ive dealt with them Dave has always given me great customer service.

But yes my BTL was louder to the ear after I got it rebuilt, but I got it rebuilt because I got it used, so that could be a factor.

  4. Will do! I'm gonna try to get a voltage meter too.

I'm not a fan of adding a 2nd battery but I might try to upgrade the front with something nice. Maybe like a batcap 3000.

Install it and see where you are at. That is the best advice that I can give you.

This really is the only way, if you turn it up and the voltage drops, just turn it back down to where your voltage is safe until you can do the "big 3" or other electrical upgrades to address the issue.

  5. Thanks for the input.

I was considering using bedliner, but thought the plasti-dip might provide a smoother slicker finish.

Has anyone rolled on the hercules bedliner? If so how did it turn out?

Also can the bedliner be painted afterwords without looking like crap? (roll on or spray on)
