  1. have u got a decoder ring for the rar files? or must i download all of them? kent
  2. more strands = lower resistance. electrons flow on the *surface* of the metal. so more strands = more surface area = lower resistance. I doubt it makes a signifant difference in a car with relatively short wires. It depends on the length of the run and the amount of amps you are sourcing/sinking. kent
  3. live and learn. that's why i like to do my own work. failures are the best teachers. definitely not all metal is connected to the chassis. voltage measurement would tell you. kent

    SAX-100.4 3 way wiring

I have a JVC KD-AHD59 HU, front components and a Polk 4ohm SVC sub. I am planning to run the front components on ch 1/2 and bridge the sub on ch 3/4. The HU has 4 preamp outputs, line out L/R for the fronts and L/R outputs for the sub. I'm confused by the L/R sub outputs. Can I run those 2 sub outputs into ch 3/4 inputs on the amp and bridge the amp outputs for the sub? Seems odd to me. Please advise. Kent
