Well maybe not totally. I joined back in 2003 when the site came back up. I took about a 15 year hiatus from car audio. Spent some time in college, spent some time on my career, spent a little time on life. Now I'm in a comfortable spot in life where I have the time for treating my car like a toy again. So I figure why not stop back by one of the best forums I remember. I'm Alex, from northern illinois, the only older piece of equipment I still have is an old blown Avionixx AXT800.2 so don't expect to see any OG gear haha. I'm still a noob, hoping to gain as much knowledge as I can as quickly as I can about newer gear and doing a simple install in my boring '23…

Hi guys I'm putting a Sony unit with wireless carplay into my hiace camper next week. There's a pink wire comes out of the head unit that needs to be connected to the VSS (aka speed pulse signal wire) for the maps to work properly. Anyone know where I'd find that on a 2009 petrol hiace? I'm putting a Sony unit with wireless carplay into my hiace camper next week. Just curious how you guys (and girls) cover your subs when leaving your vehicle for the night. I need a new ideal and I'm sure I'm not the only one getting bitched at by the wife for stealing a bed sheet to cover my subs at night. Wish my truck had a trunk to hide them in.

Hello fellow bassheads. I'm new and wanted to show off my system. It's not complete yet I was just dying to hear it. My build consists of Xs power d3100 under the hood, xs power d375 behind seat, all 0 gauge wires and big 3, kilmat (the thicker stuff), 2 12" SSA icons in 4.1 cu ft box, aeroport tuned to 32hz, 2 soundqubed U1-1500 amps (one to each sub). Nvx Loc tapped into rear door speakers. Audio control epicenter (for my Hank Williams and old country music). Sounds great in my F150.

I'm socially retarded thanks to an abnormally high IQ that turns me into a useless potato of a genius. Medical professionals call me Autistic, I'm not convinced yet. If I ever say some overly dumb [excrement] just know I'm not trying to be stupid, I literally just don't understand what's going on. With that out of the way, I live near Seattle. I've been involved in car audio in some manner since I was a kid, lately I've been trying to learn anything and everything I possibly can about automotive specific sub-bass acoustics. In the last year I've gone through more drivers than I can remember, designed and built more enclosures than I can count, and have been investin…

Hi All! My name is Melissa Stephens with Iraggi Alternator and I just wanted to post a message to introduce myself. I started working with Iraggi in August 2015. Now Dominick Iraggi has time to just focus on building great alternators! I have completely restructured Iraggi Alternator. I am also a member of several groups which have gone really well. I would love an opportunity to show anyone who may have heard or had a bad experience at one time to check us out o…
