Hi , Well I'm from The Netherlands , Car-Audio is a hobby of mine for over 10 years now , specifically the low end gets al lot of attention and I've made MANY sub enclosures . Hello everyone, I am just getting back in to car audio after 18 years . I have a 95 Accord Wagon that I am slowly building. Most of my equipment is from the mid to late 90s lol. I was a Kicker fan boy back then. Here is what I currently own, HeadUnit- Pioneer DEH-P9200 Subs- 12 NIB 10" Kicker Solo Barics (old round c series and d series) Components- 6.5 Kicker Resolution Series. Only item installed is the Pioneer Headunit. Big 3 is done and have ran 1/0 to the trunk.

Hi guys i have all sorts of problems,1st where to start. my OHIO alternator does lousy at keeping the charge to my 4 xs 2700s, i have 2 runs of 0 gauge from the front battery to the back, 2 grnd and 2 positives, big 3 in 0 gauge,my amp will play about 5 min then shut off, then play 1 min and shut off and so on downhill. back when i had 2 orion 15s amp never shut off, same set up diff subs. now that i got 2 18 SMDs i think they are too hungry for power the amp is 9000w rms 13.8 volts. alternator is 14.0 when cold 13.4 warm then music goes and so does the voltage12.8 max. someone said to get a smaller pulley OHIO sent me one with 6 grooves mine is 8, DC power makes a dual …

Hello, before i begin my article I wanted to list out all the specs, measurements of everything i wanted to put in this car. To tell you I'm only 16 and i'll be getting my drivers licence soon and I wanted to put a system in right when i get this car. Electrical specs: I would be having everything from battery to alternator that was already put there during the manufactor process. So 1 200-300 volt hour battery with a regular stock alternator. I will be buying 1/0 gauge wires going from the front to the back for the amp. A fuse holder that runs from the battery to the amp. Well built this Powerwheel for my son to compete in USACi and MidwestSPL competition. I had an old 12" pioneer sub in it but now I am thinking about building a box for an 8" sundown. I have an SA-8 v1 sitting in my garage I am going to play around with. Right now I am using an 10yr old Sony MP70 headunit, along with a 12yrd old American Bass CX-1500 Amplifier. Hello everybody just got a single Sundown E-15 v.3 and putting it in a 4.00 cu ft slot ported box with a Hifonics BRX1116.1D 1100 watt amp should bump preety good. The last system i had was not vary good i had two pyle 12s 250 watt rms subs with a 1000 watt crunch amp one of them stoped working after about 4 months.

Hey all, 1st virgin cherry-popping post here. Some folks on the CarAudio Forum highly recommended SSA for the outstanding lineup of amps etc. and even better price tags. I'm under the impression that these names here are young, hungry and trying to make a name for themselves while offering great values. So, I've only had 2 amps, both Kickers. One was about 2001, Impulse 405 which sounded great to start but destroyed my Excelon comps. Hey everyone. Arthur from Indianapolis here. I am a professional drummer and work as a hired gun for various tours around the world. My most recent tour was a stint with The Blue Man Group and have also played with The Fortunes from Coventry England and others. I got out of car audio for about 15 years and now have dove in again and you guys are spending all of my cash!!!! Just checking in. New here on this forum. I'm am 38, a journeyman electrician and do a little bit of everything. Big audio guy back in hs. At least what I could afford. I saved up and got two orion xtreme dvc 12 in a sealed box. Alpine head unit and infinity component s in the front. Once I stayed working full time I went to a system with 2 mtx black gold 12s sealed ran off a fosgate dsm punch 200. And alpine mids and highs of a punch dsm 4040. It was pretty good for back in the day. ... then I hag kids and sold it all. .. Now I have a 2013 accord... stock head unit. Lc2i ran to a dd m1c amp. New poster to the forum. I was away from car audio for 12 years or so but I gave in to the bug again in the last 6 months. I am shopping for a new sub at this time. Waiting on the GCON to be re-released, as I have been looking at many different subs and it seems to be the best fit in my price range. I bought a JL 12w3 last year but my car audio rust was showing, as I bought it on ebay and it blew with no abuse. Now I am looking to do it right this time and landed here at SSA.
