Still posting her as I am a Noob. I mentioned in another post, I have some OZ ME380CS component speakers that I am looking to install in my summer cruiser. I recently cam across a Punch 600a5 for a reasonable price so I scooped it up. I thought about doing a sub on the single channel. I guess I'm wondering what the opinions are on the use of 5 channel amps vs. 4ch and a mono? If the 5ch would be a good option, what would be the best setup considering it the components are crossovers, mid range and mid bass both 4ohm and 6ohm tweeter? The amp specs are: 50x4+100x1@ 4ohms 100x4+100x1@ 2 ohms Comps are rated between 75-125 watts rms Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello ssa forum. I'm new to the whole car audio forum. I'm in the works of building a system. Haven't had any slap since high school. As I have found technology has greatly change since then, sure I will have plenty of questions. Run down I have a 07 Saturn ion looking to get a Q18 2 ohm in the trunk running it with a rockford T1500 amp. Should sound good since my car is pretty much just plastic. Been curious if the dent resistant panels are bass proof lol. Just throwing out there clueless on how to power this amp "cheaply" as in not looking to have to buy a alt. Thank you ahead of time for the welcomes.

Hello to all SSA members. My name is Nightshade here and on SMD.com as well as Team Ol Skool.com I'm also know as AllNightLong on Termpro.com So I'm not new to the forum scene, just to this one. I figured it was time to expand my knowledge to another site since the one's I'm currently on aren't enough. I'm pretty much a car audio junkie and I soundoff veteran. I'm a member of Team Sundown and also of Team Nemesis. I compete in bassrace on a regular basis. Last year I finished 8th overall in points in the 129.9 division in North America. I do participate in Db Drag as well, but it is not my passion like bassrace. This year I have started out in 139.9, and I will r…

just realized after about a month of creating a account here and replying on some posts that I never took the step to post on the newbie forum. So here we are, my post on the newbie forum. Done most of my audio by myself and learned the hard way while paying through the teeth. Usually have worked with trucks in particullar that are very limited on space. Just finished my friends system in his extended cab toyota tacoma with two FI Q fully loaded 12's in a ported box on a Hifonics 2500, accidently had the amp wired down to .5 ohm's and fried it the first day . Gonna get him an amp for each and see how that goes. Currently researching some 8 inch subs that are budget fr…
