Glad I found this site. Looking to purchase some new 12s soon, and im tired of the cookie cutter brands. I want to be different !

Been into car audio since 1998 (didnt even have my liscence till 2001) by the end of 2001 I had upgraded to 2 mtx 81000d's and a DD9515. Go big or go home! Have been just trying to enjoy my music lately but the bass just keeps pulling me back in

Looks like I have to make my first few posts here..... Long time CA.com member here, been sick of that site and it's lack of moderators so I'm making the jump to over here. This site seems to be managed substantially better with a more conducive environment for learning. I've been into audio since the early 2000s, been designing and building boxes for the past 10yrs or so. My area of expertise so to speak is with subwoofer enclosures so that's where I mostly hang out.

Hello all, I a member on some other car audio forums and see a lot of other people referencing or linking posts here, so I thought I would swing by and check it out. I had a '99 eclipse gsx that I just recently sold with 2 12'' alpine type-x and 2 x alpine 1kw amps. System sounded good for a car but now I'm looking to go big in my '02 GMC Envoy. I've always been with mainstream brands and prefab'd boxes so definitely getting excited to see what else there is out there. Those xcon's or zcon's are looking bad ass.

What's up guys? Love the site and all the good info. I just put a small setup in my truck, now I fell back into the vicious cylce of it never being loud enough. So, now I'm thinkin of doing a wall, lol. Will keep you posted on what I decide or possibly a build thread.

Hey guys comming over here from CA.com since Im gunna be looking for some Sundown and figure out where Im gunna go with the new system... My moto with my systems is "Stay small and get loud" meaning I have a personal goal to try and get loud with smaller subs while on an average Joe budget... First post !! Im a buddy of sefugi and hes been giving me guidance so here goes. I have a 1996 ecsb silverado the motor is going to be a 454 backed w/ a th400 as for the interior im planning 4 low back buckets and a center console from front to back . This is where sefugi will really be put to the test , im sure youve all seen his sons car its bitchen, and we wil hopefully start on my truck in the fall<>. so I will post pics and continue to draw from all of the coolness ive seen here!!

I have been in car audio for 6-7 years and have had at least 15-16 sytems. My current system is 3 RL-I10's in a custom built box powered by a alpine pdx 1.1000. I also have a pdx 4.100 for my mids and highs. I am glad to be here. But i have some sad news...i was laid off in mid november and i might have to start parting out my system to keep paying my bills. Hy there, first of all, please excuse my english! I`m from Romania, Europe , and I`m a new proud member of a Fi Q15. I bought it from a friend of mine, so it`s secondhand. As far as I know, in my country are only two Fi subs (yeah, we don`t have an official dealer); so having a Fi it`s so exotic. Here, there are a lot of DD`s, GroundZero`s, and a few RE Audio`s and Dragster`s (i mean the brands that do our SPL records). Now I have to instal my sistem and build an enclosure for my Fi. I`m looking forward to reading your posts.
