whats up fellas... names josh, i heard a truck up at a local hang out a couple hours ago and the shit was sick loud, two fi btl 18s in a colorado extended cab, NASTY. so i figured id dig around here and try and educate myself.... and im not a complete audio noob, i mean im no expert but as of now i got: 4 diamond audio d1 tens, downfire, sealed with a cube per sub diamond d3 1100.1 diamond d1 250.2 alpine type r 6.5 component set alpine ida-x001 head unit all stuffed in my 2008 dodge ram single cab on a 5/7 static drop with some 22s lookin to redo my audio this year and that damn colorado was just, loud.... anyhow nice to be here.

I'm 19 and from the down unde and Im here to learn and enjoy other builds I do have a build in the works.... I'm on CAF by the same name, it's gone screwy so I've popped over here. That's basically it...is there a protocol for this site like you have to be here for x amount of days before you can offer advice or weird stuff like that? My "system" if you can call it that, right now is two SSD's in a ported box off a hifonics bxi 1606d with type r comps of a PG 250.2. Within the month is going to completely change to a 10" BL off a cadence txa1000d, phoenix gold ti6's or if I can get the fundage Focal k2ps, off a cadence txa 3002. Fully deadened doors, amp racks and everything...I'll keep ya'll posted.

New to the forum here is a run down of the truck. Clarion- NZ500 matching EQ, 4 sets of 6X9 componets in the front doors, A-pilla pods have 5.25 componet, titanium tweets in the stock location on the dash, power by 2 Aq 90X4... For BASS 6 AQ 10's power ed by AQ 2/3500D. XS power alt 270/360/ Bat 2/D3100 / 1 D 6500 under the hood. My camera is broken can take any pic. So I'm getting a Fi Bl 15 and I was wondering about yalls oppions on tuning and box size. I know absolutely nothing about tuning so that's mainly what I'm looking for, but what size box should I get as well. I'm getting an audio shop by me to build it.

Like the title says, I've always had systems in my cars and followed forums like SSA and SMD back in high school, for the past couple of years I've cut back and now I'm started to put together a new setup for the spring. Currently I'm running a Kicker ZX700.5 with Diamond Audio components in the front doors, Alpine Type R 6x9's in the rear deck and a DC lvl 3 12".

Hello quick question involving wiring two 2ohm subs to an amp. If the amp is rated for 3000 watts at 1 ohm mono, how would one wire the subs to reach 2500-3000 watts? Should it be wired regulary or bridged?

What is the best wood glue when building your sub box. Reg wood glue don't seem like it would be strong enough, For what Im useing Im sure it would be, but I still want to use the best,

First post !! Im a buddy of sefugi and hes been giving me guidance so here goes. I have a 1996 ecsb silverado the motor is going to be a 454 backed w/ a th400 as for the interior im planning 4 low back buckets and a center console from front to back .
