New to the forum, I just ordered a pair of GCON 12" D4 to be powered by a pair of Infinity Kappa One amps. They'll be going in a new box that I plan to build which will sit in the trunk of my 2011 Dodge Charger R/T.

well so far ive been looking at a few different subs. ireally just want to play rap music with the lower frequencies so ive been looking at 18's. so far my options are dd 9518 with all options, fi btl with all options, atomic apxx, and the tc sounds lms ultra. If anyone has an opinion it would greatly be appreciated oh but i also want the sub to last as long as possible with the rated rms applied to all of th eabove

Hello quick question involving wiring two 2ohm subs to an amp. If the amp is rated for 3000 watts at 1 ohm mono, how would one wire the subs to reach 2500-3000 watts? Should it be wired regulary or bridged?

Hello from louisiana. I have been lurking here for a few weeks after being introduced to the forum by a friend. I doubt he is a member, he lurks alot. The main reason I am here is because of Sundowns SA-8, it seems to be an extremely impressive woofer and 8s have been my preference for woofers as long as I can remember. I have read most of the stickys you guys have posted and learned quite a bit from it, and I really like the way this forum is laid out. This seems to be the best audio forum I have seen and I would like to thank you guys for the effort put into making it what it is. I do have a few questions for you guys as I would like to setup my system once, correct…

We've been lurking for a couple of years now , and since my son has some questions , i guess we should introduce ourselves . I'm Clay 47 yrs. old and my son is Josh 23 yrs.old . We are competing in MECA AS2 this year . We have a 1997 4 door Blazer with a MOJO 15 D2 being pushed by a Sundown SAE1200D . So far the big 3 is done in 1/0 , 2 batteries and pretty much stock from there . Highest score so far has been 144.9 on music , engine off per class rules . We would like to say thanks in advance for any help we ask for and thanks for a great site as well .

I have a box under my back seat that has a mounting depth of 6.7 inches... i am thinking about getting two fi x 12s, i have a 4000 watt mono block autotek amp.. any better ideas on woofers?

Met Mark LaFountain last night while I was hanging out with bassahaulic in Baton Rouge. I'm currently running a 10 RE SXX powered by an AQ1200D running at 1 ohm, four 6.5 cadence CVLS's on a soundstream rubicon 4.600, each is on 0 and 4 gauge respectively. Stock electricals, for now, until I save up the cash to do the big 3. I'm waiting for the Fi BTL N1, used to have a 12 Q but sold it.
