Was just referred to SAS by some friends on reddit. Here to learn and seek advice for my ride. Just reading some of the threads and it's apparent there is some serious knowledge here. I'm not sure if I should post my questions in this introduction thread or not, so forgive me if I'm wrong. I'm putting together my second install and this time it's going to be a little better. The first one was Rockford Fosgate using stock head unit. It was for my son's car and it's not too bad. Better than what he had at least lol. hello everyone, my name is d.j. and I'm from oklahoma. I'm oh jays little brother, he put up a build logon here for me, I have the red dodge caliber with a ssa z-con 18 on a sundown saz 3000. My Skar vvx 10 came in Thursday. I installed it in a 1.25 ported box tuned to 30 hz. It sounds great. Much better than the e5.19 I had. It couldn't handle the JL Audio 500 I use. The Skar lets me bring the amp up to the point that it puts out its max power before clipping. I was running it a quarter turn less to keep from blowing the e5.10 I'll break it in & see how it sounds.

hi new here and it's been some years since i had a system. it will be the first time that i ordered from ssa. i ordered 2 x Sundown Audio SA-12 and did the pre-order on the Sundown Audio SAE-1200D. i hope all goes well.

I'm from oklahoma city i have a 95 cadillac deville with 2 15" kicker l3 with an american bass 1200.1. Currently looking to go a lil extreme and was looking for some insight and maybe ideas. All feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I hope to gain some knowledge in making some gains with my current setup . I say current because it keeps changing frequently . My system goals are that , I hope to be able to play any song from any genre loudly , and with clarity. I have no intrest in a one note wonder .

Hello everyone, I am just getting back in to car audio after 18 years . I have a 95 Accord Wagon that I am slowly building. Most of my equipment is from the mid to late 90s lol. I was a Kicker fan boy back then. Here is what I currently own, HeadUnit- Pioneer DEH-P9200 Subs- 12 NIB 10" Kicker Solo Barics (old round c series and d series) Components- 6.5 Kicker Resolution Series. Only item installed is the Pioneer Headunit. Big 3 is done and have ran 1/0 to the trunk.

Hello All, I would like to tell everyone hi and i hope i have some good experiences here. My project vehicle is a 1995 Nissan 200SX Coupe. Currently the entire system was stripped out to make way for new. Hopefully it will be hitting SPL competitions next year. I'm not new to car audio, but i am here to learn, listen and find new and better ways to do things.

I've been looking for a forum for auto equipment for some time. I'm working on a '77 280Z. After I get it back from the body shop I'll be looking into a stereo. Head unit/ 1 sub/ 2 tweeters/2 or 4 mids and maaaaybe 6x9's out back alot of my z friends don't think I will needd a 6x9's in the back. The last time I did an install was in the '90's early, so I need to catch up on alot of stuff.
