New to the board. Ended up here because I am looking for a new 12 and was looking through the black friday deals. Been on some other car audio pages for a long time. Never had anything all that fancy though.

New here and just have a quick question to get me started, picked up an 18" soundqubed sub and i'm going to build a ported enclosure with blueprints from soundqubed; problem is they don't specify what type of wood to use or the thickness, some info here would be greatly appreciated!! Hello All, I'm Lee from Gulf Shores, AL. I've been a lurker for a while, figured it was time to check in. I've been in the hobby off and on since the early 90's. I currently own a 12' Jeep Wrangler Rubi 2 door with soft top. My gear consist of two sets of mid 90's Rockford 6.5 components powered by a Arc Audio ks 300.4, 2 Arc Audio ks 1000.1's strapped to 4 SQ HDS 208's in a High Output Enclosure. Buck knows how to build an enclosure and is fast doing it.

hi names robert im from texas...i drive/built my 97 nissan hardbody bagged and bodied on 17s ....i got it when i was 16 stock...took me two years to get it where it is today...ive been gettin burnt out on body work so i thought time to learn about audio since im new to it...its a single cab and i have honda prelude seats....i wanna build a fiberglass box in between my seats ....at the most two 10s at the least on 10...and if i get more people to talk me into doing two 8s maybe ill think about it.... heres some pics of my baby

Sup fellas. Figured I'd go ahead and introduce myself. Don't have a whole lot to say so I'll just talk a bit about my system. Currently have 2 dual 2ohm sa-12's. Powered by a crunch 1500.1. Bought this for 80 bucks when I upgraded from my previous system, so it's just temporary. Very soon I'll be purchasing a pair of saz-1500d's which I'm very excited about. I'm currently working on my electrical so I'll be ready for the monster amps. I also posted in the electrical section asking for some help on electrical.

Nice forum.. Read a few threads.. Cant wait to know everyone! I'm also needing advise on a sound system for my 93' nissan D21 pickup ext cab. I was reccomended RE SE 12 jus 1 with a hifonics amp 1000w.. Id like to have 2 with amp to make em bump but I dont know anything about the enclosure what to get I need something to at least fit the back of my truck. My budget is really doesnt matter with tax returns coming in so lets say 600-800
