Watsup guys, I'm new to this forum and in need of some advice. I bought a 00 mustang gt with the crappy Mach 460 system, the previous owner replaced the stock head unit w/ a Kenwood DDX418, love the stereo but it sounds horrendous with the stock sound system, I have compiled the speakers so far: DB drive speed series 6.5 components for the front and Hypnotic Zen 6x7 components for the rear. I am looking for a suitable replacement of 4 Boston Acoustics Pro series 10.4LF. Normally when a customer is looking for sq I just direct them to Boston Acoustics 3 series subs because I've got the hook-up and can make a little on the deal. But with the car audio division of Boston I would rather start using something else. I currently have a customer that owns 4 10" B/A's And even though 2 of them need to be re-coned, he still thinks that it's the best way to go. Hello, I'm new to this forum. Ordered 2 DC level 3 15's this week and I can't wait to receive them. I tried to build a small low power system in my Dodge Ram ( 2 twelves on a Memphis 1000D). but I can't take it any more. I NEED BASS IN MY LIFE! My question is, how many post do I need to have in order to post my subs for sale? I looked on the For Sale section and did not see that there was a minimum posts amount to post in that forum. Hello, Just picked up an FI BL 10" from a local classified w/ a kenwood 800w amp(probably not gonna use) for $120!!! Kid said it was an SSD but upon removal and further inspection it is a BL, D2 config. I just printed the cut sheet for a new box and am currently in search of a new amp. I wired up my Memphis MC500.1 and that BL just laughed and barely moved @ 1ohm. I never should have sold my 1k!!!! Oh well!

I'm trying to learn more about sound dampening and audio systems. I just ordered 1 Bulk Pack Damplifier Pro - 36 sq feet and 9 sq foot sheet of Overkill from Second Skin Audio. The vehicle I'm working on is a 98 Jeep ZJ 5.9L Right now I'm trying to kill the tire noise some, next will be installing a new audio system.

I've been out of car audio for 15 years now and am just starting to get back in. Can't wait to get some good info from people who actually know something about car audio. Anybody know the t/s specs for the sx recone from fi audio? I just got an sx 18 with a fi recone that has the int. leads and the extra spider with the 1.4 ohm coils and I wanted to recone my sx 18 with the same set up so I can have matching woofers but I wanted to know if the 1.4 ohm coils will work with my motor so I can go ahead and order a recone but I can't get a response from anyone at fi. Whats up. New guy here from Ga. Came here with the attention to the subs sold here. Looking to replace my ripped IA 12". Drive a MazdaSpeed3 and looking to replace my dead sub.
