just realized after about a month of creating a account here and replying on some posts that I never took the step to post on the newbie forum. So here we are, my post on the newbie forum. Done most of my audio by myself and learned the hard way while paying through the teeth. Usually have worked with trucks in particullar that are very limited on space. Just finished my friends system in his extended cab toyota tacoma with two FI Q fully loaded 12's in a ported box on a Hifonics 2500, accidently had the amp wired down to .5 ohm's and fried it the first day . Hello, I'm new to this forum. Ordered 2 DC level 3 15's this week and I can't wait to receive them. I tried to build a small low power system in my Dodge Ram ( 2 twelves on a Memphis 1000D). but I can't take it any more. I NEED BASS IN MY LIFE! I'm planning on using the DC 2.0 for power ( after the alt and extra battery). I hope to learn from you guys on here. Thanks

Finally signed up here. Currently running a Sundown E12 in a 1.5 cubic foot enclosure tuned to 33Hz off of a JL 500/1. It is an absolute steal for the price.

yeah i bought a used amp its the rockford T1001bd and it seems to have a short.. :''( any ideas were i can ship amp to, i stay in Arkansas oh and i gt the amp for 125$ is tht a good deal?

Hello, Just picked up an FI BL 10" from a local classified w/ a kenwood 800w amp(probably not gonna use) for $120!!! Kid said it was an SSD but upon removal and further inspection it is a BL, D2 config. I just printed the cut sheet for a new box and am currently in search of a new amp. I wired up my Memphis MC500.1 and that BL just laughed and barely moved @ 1ohm. I never should have sold my 1k!!!! Oh well!

So I'd like to say Hi and hopefully I can contribute a little bit. I am trying to sell two of my BNIB TC Sounds LMS-R 12's so that I can make my Pre-Order for the new SA-8 V2's. My question is, how many post do I need to have in order to post my subs for sale? I looked on the For Sale section and did not see that there was a minimum posts amount to post in that forum. I'm trying to learn more about sound dampening and audio systems. I just ordered 1 Bulk Pack Damplifier Pro - 36 sq feet and 9 sq foot sheet of Overkill from Second Skin Audio. The vehicle I'm working on is a 98 Jeep ZJ 5.9L Right now I'm trying to kill the tire noise some, next will be installing a new audio system.

My dad found incriminator audio in a magazine ad, and purchased some through SSA, and the amps he got I like so far, and I want to own some of my own, and figured this would be the best place to ask questions about the products, as well as look into what else SSA deals with!

I've been out of car audio for 15 years now and am just starting to get back in. Can't wait to get some good info from people who actually know something about car audio. It's a refreshing change from customer reviews and other forum posts like "I got 4 12"s that slam so hard my girlfriend went into labor!"

Anybody know the t/s specs for the sx recone from fi audio? I just got an sx 18 with a fi recone that has the int. leads and the extra spider with the 1.4 ohm coils and I wanted to recone my sx 18 with the same set up so I can have matching woofers but I wanted to know if the 1.4 ohm coils will work with my motor so I can go ahead and order a recone but I can't get a response from anyone at fi. So help would be greatly appreciated... Thank You

Whats up. New guy here from Ga. Came here with the attention to the subs sold here. Looking to replace my ripped IA 12". Drive a MazdaSpeed3 and looking to replace my dead sub. Back to car audio after a loong time. I wont post a "whats the best sub" cause i am sure thats been posted a thousand times so I will do some research first. I am debating between 2 12" or 1 12". I have a brand new HiFonics 1000.d mono amp to pair with the subs. Thanks EDIT: I signed up 6 years ago but forgot. lol

It's a 4th order blow through the rear deck. It's currently running on 2x Skar VVX12s on a Hifonics 1606D @ 1 ohm. Looking to get 2 Xcons to pair up with the Crescendo 3KWP I have thats currently getting repaired.

Hello all from Saint Louis. So a little bit about me. My father owned and operated a local car audio store in my area for over 15 years so I lived my teenage years working in car audio which was great now looking for some subs with a little education behind it. I am big on the Lotus and Miata forums I have an 06 Elise and a 99 V8 Twin Turbo Miata (Nuts I know). I just recently picked up a 2010 Nissan Cube as a daily.
