Hello all! ive been watching the fourums and learning from all the great info. I have allways had some sort of beats in my trunk for as long as I have been able to drive (going as far as shoving my old house speakers in the trunk of my moms car when i borrowed it) and have allways just "thrown" whatever equipment i could find in the trunk for some bass (was hooked on Bass after i heard Too $hort-Cusswords and some Nemisis-Munchies for my Bass on my friends system back in the days!!!), never considered the all so many things that go into a system, box size/type, amp, electrical and wire...its amazing to think back on the damage if done to some equipment Ive owned in the pa…

Hello everyone. I am from southern maryland and love working on my truck. I work for a G.M. dealer so working on electrical and fixing vehicles (at work or home) is my thing. I love bumpin down the road and in my spare time i have a gas r/c boat i play with being as i also live on the water. My current project is my daily driver, a '98 s10 3 door. Currently it has 2 12" kicker cvx's, kicker zx500 amp (underpowered i know) and a kenwood headunit that is fully compatible with my Iphone. Aloha everyone, my name is Chris just moved to utah from hawaii. New place, new car, ready for some new sounds. Going to do a FI ib3 18 in a 05 legacy gt. My prior car a 04 infiniti g35 was pretty basic with DLS nordica comps on a rainbow ipaul 4.300, DLS coaxs in rear but not hooked up and variety of different sub stages 2 favorite being a mx12 on a aq2200 and 4 id8v3 on a zapco dc1100. I like to keep it simple, but wanted to try new and different things. Im sure ill get a chance to learn plenty from everyone here, so thanks in advance!!

What's up guys, I'm a newb To this site and thought Id say hi, I'm Looking for a reputable shop to rebuild my audio in my car.... The last shop that worked on my car really screwed me over... Pretty much jacked my money.... And they didn't even know what Hybrid audio was :/ So if you Guys have had any experience with any shops that you will like to reccomend .... I Recently placed an order for a Icon 10" D1 and can not wait for it to be delivered! This sub will be part of a new build i will be doing in my DD (audi A6) so far i have all the wiring needed from knukonceptz and the order for this sub, still need a new HU, and amp to power this bad boy up, and some decent 6.5 comps with a matching amp as well. Hi all , I'm dice from the uk and am a keen bass head I've just purchased a fiat punto van with a 1.7td engine and some ascendent audio havoc 18's and two Orion d5000 amps and I'm looking at making a ported enclosure to the design I'm linking on this post . Is there anyone on here that could help me work out measurements for the box ? The sizes of the space in which I would like the enclosure in is 34high x 20" deep 53" wide which is just over 17cuft i'f I've worked it out ok :/ Hope someone can help I'm all eager to get started .

I just build a ported box 1.25cf tuned at 29hz. I ordered my sub a week ago and still haven't got a tracking number yet so who know's when i'll get it. Hello all from Oregon. Been in car audio for years, and have just now pulled my head out, and damn, there is a whole other world out here. Funniest thing is, over my past year of planning, and doing research for my build, I end up here via one link or another, so instead of more time wasted, I figured I'd join, and see where it goes.

I am new here of course just stopping in for some advice and good fun. I competted in many db drags ten years ago but I laid off due to the military. I was always that guy that wanted the highest db and got away from sq and now that I am older I require more sq and less db. With that being said I am glad to be on this forum and hope all is well with everyone.
