Hey all, new to the site but not to car audio or online forums. First off I'd like to say that I placed my first order from SSA for a Sundown SA-8 on Sunday it's Wed. and it just showed up! Thanks for the super fast shipping! I will hopefully be putting in an order for the second one soon. I plan on running two SA-8's on a Memphis MCD 16-1000 in a 2005 VW GTI. Hopefully I can start up a build thread soon. Anyways, great site and great forum. I look forward to learning a lot and helping when I can.

I have been reading these forums, and others, comparing products, reading opinions and doing research on different brands, in an attempt to do my own system. It is currently an "In Process" System as I am taking my time to make sure everything is done right. Here is a rundown of what I've got so far. Well, I thought I'd bother to say Hi, so Hi I'm Dave from New Zealand and I am NZ distributor for Sundown Audio and working with Galen @ Indigo Audio, offering Fi, Ascendant, Kinetik and RE to the masses down under. I've been playing car audio games since 96 and previously ran the local SQ competition format here in NZ for the last 3 years. Now I'm a dealer/distributor and am currently working on a couple of demo cars as well as general installs and SPL box builds/designs etc. Anyhoo, instead of working on my accounts, I thought I'd play on the internet and show some pictures This is my big project: 1990 GT4A which will have a full interior rebuild to suit SQ and will …

Anywho, some background information on me. I'm currently going to school to be an electrical engineer, so hopefully one day I can design speakers, amps, other audio types equipment. My favorite types of music is folk/progressive/neo-classical/thrash metal, blues, virtuoso guitar , and other stuff For TV definitely got to have my South Park, Dexter, Simpsons, Tosh.0, and Top Gear I'm running CDT, kicker, Alpine, Audioque, and Pioneer in my car. Hello all. Joining in from the Tulsa area. Vehicle is a 1987 Chevy truck with an in-work system consisting of Hybrid Audio speakers and Tru amplifiers. Just getting started competing this year, but I'm the SQ game. However I'm toying with the idea of doing a blow through setup later this year, so we'll see where that takes me. Other than the audio, the truck has an aluminum headed 383 that I built last year. HP is ~500. Also got the trans rebuilt and the rear end is scheduled to be rebuilt in July. After that, I'll be taking it to the track for some fun on occasion. I'm also hoping to get into Hot Rod magazine's Drag Week this year which begins and ends in Tulsa.

I'm Travis and I'm from the South Central portion of PA, about 65 miles southwest of Carlisle. I have an 2002 Lancer OZ Rally I'm looking to shake apart. I've pre-ordered a sundown 2000d and that's all I have decided on so far. I haven't built my own setup in 11 years, back then I was a lot more ignorant, so decisions came easier and cost more. Any Lancer owners in here with pictures of their setup?
