I was wondering if Fi's RE sx recone (or PSI's standard 12-spoke basket with recone stuff) will work for a newer RE sex or sxx with the black (stupid looking) baskets. i want to turn my sex 10's into decent-looking 12's but want to be sure it will work before i start on my mission lol.

actually the suburbs of Detroit, but anyway. I found this site and have picked up a lot of good info. I used to be pretty big into the mobile audio seen some years ago. I worked for an audio engineering and consulting firm starting my senior year in HS and learned a lot about audio, way more than most people even want to know about. I've chose to forget a lot of it myself lol Anyway, I've always been into audio systems but as I've grown up some I just haven't had the time to stay devoted. But along comes a new vehicle, and it is time for me to start things off again. This is a great site, and so far everyone has been very great and welcoming, glad to be here. John

I'm new to this forum and thought I would introduce myself. I just got my skar audio VVX 8 and it's nice. i plan on running 3 VVX 8's @2 ohms on 1000 RMS. tuned to 33 Htz. i plan on having this build done within the next few months. im on realmofexcurtion aswell

Hey new to this forum. Been in car audio for about 15 years but just purchased my first Sundown product this week. (SAZ-2500) Been a Rockford only guy for years and it was time for a change. Seen this forum off the Sundown site so I'm sure it is full of knowledgeable people and good information. From KC Current build out in progress and almost done: 04 Tahoe 2 sets of 6.5 Punch Comps (kicks and doors) Lightning Audio 4-ch (searching for a Sundown 50.4) 2 T2 15's Box is in progress (Fiberglass shaped Top with Plexi Windows Tuned to 33hz) Sundown SAZ-2500 RockFoz 360.2

Hi all, My name is Jack, and I'm 19 years old. I recently have been drawn back to the car audio scene. My old setup was a 180A alternator, two 12" Treo SSI with an old Mmats D200HC. I sold all this stuff back in 2008 and my alternator recently took a dump on me. It was a 180A alternator, and I sent it back and they quoted me $170 for the rebuild, or $270 to build it up to 200A. I don't know what to do, but more on this later as I'm rambling haha... I plan on running a new system, it will have three old 12" Punch HX2, all D4 ohms, so I'm looking at an amp that will do well at .75 ohms. Anyways...that's me! Glad to be here.

Well first off let me say I have been fllowing this forum for about 2 months now and I love it. I have to say that I was in such a rush for info that I never look in this section or paid attention to having to post in here for your first 2 post. Anyways my name is Kenneth. I am US military stationed abroad in Italy and enjoying life. I have been into car audio for a long time and since joining the military and having enough money to do the things I like, I started installing my own systems and building my own boxes. I am currently trying to get my Avalanche shipped here so I can start on my build for it. It is all stock and I plan on doing two 18"BTL's.I do not know every…
