Newbie Sign IN

Hello quick question involving wiring two 2ohm subs to an amp. If the amp is rated for 3000 watts at 1 ohm mono, how would one wire the subs to reach 2500-3000 watts? Should it be wired regulary or bridged?

Hey guys, been lurking around here, but haven't been signed up or posting here. Actually just finished up my first build ever and had Robin (Iamamp3pimp from BHE) build my box up for me. It's a 4th order blow through the rear deck. It's currently running on 2x Skar VVX12s on a Hifonics 1606D @ 1 ohm. Looking to get 2 Xcons to pair up with the Crescendo 3KWP I have thats currently getting repaired.

well here is the hello I have been reading the board a couple days and deicided to join. Found it looking up amps for my new system. My old ones got stolen about 1 moth ago. So I am doing a large overhaul of my equipment. and this place has the best info so far. and a good sense of humor

Well my name is Mike. I'm from Greenwood, IN. Been around ca.com for quite a while. Been into stereos for almost 3 years now and have been into cars since my dark ages. My current system consists of Kicker KS35 fronts, Pioneer HU(debating on which of my 2 I wana use), 2 AW1206T Subs, Power Acoustic A1800DB Amp. Plan on getting a set of 6.5 comps along w/ a set of 6x9s maybe. I am a trained ASE cert mechanic(passed this year and I'm only a jr in HS). I love cars and I love everything to do w/ engines. lots more about me but not enough time/effort to tell

Running an 02 buick regal, have a alpine deck kenwood components jl mids amp, rf t1500 sub amp(another this week) and running type r's for time being. I am trying to find some diamond d9 12s to run, but not having any luck. Now looking at the xcon!

After hearing about the SA8's from a buddy decided to sign up and catch up. Stepped out of Car audio over a decade ago. Figure 1 SA8 in a shebalt will be decent enough from what i can tell by all the videos.

Hello everyone My name is Travis. I live in kennesaw, Ga. Like most of you, I'm a car audio fanatic. I am currently running 2 12" DB Audio 12s (D4) and a DB audio amp (pushes about 500watts per speaker @ 1ohm) in a 2004 NBS Ford F-150.
