Hey everyone. My name is Ken and I am glad to be here on the SSA forums. I joined about a week ago and have been lurking around and must say that this forum seems much better than the car audio forums I was at. Looking forward to learning as much as I can.

Hey guys, I messed up in the past on Meade's board and let my anger get the best of me. I don't start problems, but I can't help finishing them when I get pushed. I was the xXxOuTLaWxXx, but I would like if somebody could change my display name to OuTLaWeD. I'm sorry if I have offended you in the past, but I ask that you don't bring that stuff here. Thanks guys

Good morning folks, I'm new to the SSA forums, but not to forums in general. I'm a moderator over on Focaljet.com, stemming from my focus owning days. My name is Evan, I'm 24, I'm from Connecticut. I've been making fiberglass pieces for a while now, a few years at least. Not all the time, but a few here and there. I am a design engineer by day but end up working on most of my buddies' car problems by night. Currently, I know more about the design of enclosures (and still that's not too vast a knowledge) than I do about sound quality, so I am looking to further my knowledge here with you folks. What led me here is that I have a client that wants me to rebuild his false fl…

My Skar vvx 10 came in Thursday. I installed it in a 1.25 ported box tuned to 30 hz. It sounds great. Much better than the e5.19 I had. It couldn't handle the JL Audio 500 I use. The Skar lets me bring the amp up to the point that it puts out its max power before clipping. I was running it a quarter turn less to keep from blowing the e5.10 I'll break it in & see how it sounds.

Hi, I'm new to SSA. I followed a trail of posts from Sundown Audio to here and it looks like people seem to know their stuff here. I'm planning on adding a sub and amp to my car, and thought this would be a good place to ask questions, get my knol on, etc.

Hey! Quick introduction, I'm new to this forum (apart from some lurking the past year) but have been into car audio for almost 20 years, still as fun now as when I got my first car back in 93 Having placed an order for a Fi BLT N2 18" a while back, this forum has given me a lot of answers, now its time to contribute back with whatever knowledge I can pass on, and threads about my projects. My current car is a 99 VW Lupo, with a couple of nice amps installed Great forum by the way!

What is up everyone. I am obviously (post count) new to this forum. One of my friends suggested that I join an audio form to find the perfect set up, and that makes sense. I have had the following set ups Car 96 Dodge Intrepid Two 12 inch dual subs (500 watts each, with 750 watt dual amp)---blew the amp due to stupidity Two 15 inch razors subs (1000watts each, with 750 watt razor amp) blew one sub, and came to the point where this system is not loud enough for me Three 12 inch kicker CVR (can not remember the watts to those things, but everyone knows them anyways, with a kenwood 1800 watt amp) Two 12 inch zstat subs a knockoff of the 15in razors above (i think they were …
