This is my first post on SSA. Apparently I registered a long time ago, but never posted here. I actually never heard of the website until I purchased an ICON about 2wks ago. I then came and tried to register on the forums, but they said my username was already taken (which has never happened to me before). I guessed a couple of my older p/w's and got it right, so now I can be a cool SSA member too!

I am from Minnesota and in January moving to Phoenix area to go to school at MMI. I have a 10 type r at the moment and the icon 10 i on its way to me as we speak. It is going into an 02 Trans Am WS6. I have a rockford p500.2 powering my alpin typ r componnt set and a rockford p1000bd powering the type r 10. I have a new box on its way to me also, it is 1.25ft^3 with dual ports. I will get pictures of everything when it is all here.

Hello all SSA junkies! I'm new to SSA, but not to audio. My name's Mark, and I'm from Anchorage Alaska. I've got a 2000 Ford F-150 Lightning that I'm building a system for. I've been collecting bits and pieces, both new and used. Here's the basics of what's going in; MTX Thunderform box, 1.7 cu ft Q-forms kick panels, will be custom enclosed with fiberglass. Two sets of Hertz HSK165's. One mid placed in door, other in kick panel. Both tweets in kick panels. I'm new to this particular forum, I've been on caraudio.com and diyma for a while now, and I figured I may as well register here too! I drive a '96 S10 Blazer, and all I have in my vehicle now is two True Bass Solutions Ultra 8" subs in a 1.75 ft^3 enclosure tuned to 33 hz, and a Sundown SAE-1000D amplifier. I have an old school Zed-made US Acoustics USA-2075 2-channel and an old school Eclipse 3241 4-channel waiting to be used in a 3-way active setup, but I am undecided on the drivers I will use, so if you have any suggestions as to what 8" midbass, midrange, or tweeter are good, feel free to post them here or PM me.
