I have been in car audio for 6-7 years and have had at least 15-16 sytems. My current system is 3 RL-I10's in a custom built box powered by a alpine pdx 1.1000. I also have a pdx 4.100 for my mids and highs. I am glad to be here. But i have some sad news...i was laid off in mid november and i might have to start parting out my system to keep paying my bills. I will be posting pics of my system soon Matt

Anywho I joined this forum looking for good people, good advice, good fun and maybe hearing some nice systems if you're in the Tucson area. My current system consists of: Pioneer DEH 6800MP Rockford Fosgate P1 12" (Blown) 2.3 cubic foot box tuned to 34hz before displacement Profile AP740 Bridged 180 watts at 4ohms Pioneer 2 Way Speakers Rockford Wiring Managed to pull a 135 sealed up with that setup My future rebuild/upgrade consists of: New deck, undecided yet SSA GCON 12" 2.3 cubic foot box tuned to 34hz before…

What up guys? I joined back in 2004 and I was active for quite a while (mostly reading and learning back then rather than posting) and haven't been on the forums in a looong time. I doubt anyone remembers me so I thought I'd sign in again! I got my feet wet again with a 12" DCON in a custom center console in my silverado. I looooved it for 3 whole weeks until it was stolen I'm about to order 2 more for a build in my TSX I'm back....and I make more money now so I have more $$ to waste on car audio P.S. How do I change my member title? My tastes have changed in the last 7 years and I really hate it now haha

Hello everyone. Im from New Port Richey, FL about 45 minutes NNW of Tampa. I have been reading these forums, and others, comparing products, reading opinions and doing research on different brands, in an attempt to do my own system. It is currently an "In Process" System as I am taking my time to make sure everything is done right. Here is a rundown of what I've got so far. '99 Ford F-150 Extended Cab Kenwood Excelon KDC-X994 ~ installed MBQuart DSC 4125 ~ to be installed under the drivers side rear seat Fi Audio x12 4ohm with BP Power Option ~ to be installed in a sealed box under the passenger side rear seat 1 set of Massive Audio CK6 Components ~ to be installed in th…

Hello, So let me just get this out of the way; For the gramer nazis, this will be my one and only apology. I know my spelling is bad. Matter of fact I've made 4 smart phones dumb with how bad it is... Im so sorry!! Anyway's I have 2 vehicle's that are in desperate need of new audio equipment. I have a 99 Toyota Camry and 01 Toyota Tacoma extended cab. Both have totally stock audio equipment. Both head units are stock tape/cd dubble dins. Im limited to use of the FM stations. on the camery I'm pretty sure all but one of the speakers are blown . So my plan is to find a setup that works well, that I can pretty much duplicate to some extent.…

Hello guys and gals! I hope everyone is having a great day! I'm recently getting back in to car audio after about 8-10 years. I've been doing a lot (I mean a lot!) of reading and from what I'm looking to do, people keep recommending SSA sub-woofers. As a heads up, currently my car is stock, but I have already planned most of my future system out, it will be as follows: Car: 2009 Honda Civic Si (sedan) Musical Taste: Mostly Rock/Metal Occasionally Rap/Hip Hop Occasional Dubstep/Drum and Bass type or electronic music Front Stage Kicker QS65.2 Kicker IX500.4 Head Unit Pioneer DEH-80PRS Other Upgrades Big 3 w/ 0 gauge (ideally 0 gauge) Dynamat or …

I ordered some 4 ohm evil6.5 mids and evil1 tweeters to go with a JAD900.5 amplifier in my 2016 Subaru impreza. SSA says they are out of 4 ohm tweeters. Should I be patient and wait for 4 ohm tweeters to get back in stock or just go for 8 ohm tweeters and 4 ohm mids? The JAD900.5 outputs 75 Watts RMS into 4 ohms
