haha just kidding- got refered reading up on different forums and came across this one. so far so good. hope i can help as much as i need to learn. tired of paying shops to work on my car that i should be doing.

What up guys? I joined back in 2004 and I was active for quite a while (mostly reading and learning back then rather than posting) and haven't been on the forums in a looong time. I doubt anyone remembers me so I thought I'd sign in again! I got my feet wet again with a 12" DCON in a custom center console in my silverado. I looooved it for 3 whole weeks until it was stolen I'm about to order 2 more for a build in my TSX I'm back....and I make more money now so I have more $$ to waste on car audio P.S. How do I change my member title? My tastes have changed in the last 7 years and I really hate it now haha

Like the title says, I've always had systems in my cars and followed forums like SSA and SMD back in high school, for the past couple of years I've cut back and now I'm started to put together a new setup for the spring. Currently I'm running a Kicker ZX700.5 with Diamond Audio components in the front doors, Alpine Type R 6x9's in the rear deck and a DC lvl 3 12".

I'm new to the site

I ordered some 4 ohm evil6.5 mids and evil1 tweeters to go with a JAD900.5 amplifier in my 2016 Subaru impreza. SSA says they are out of 4 ohm tweeters. Should I be patient and wait for 4 ohm tweeters to get back in stock or just go for 8 ohm tweeters and 4 ohm mids? The JAD900.5 outputs 75 Watts RMS into 4 ohms

Old school audio fan finally getting some beats put back into the ride. Looks like theres a lot of crap out there so I'll be needing some help looking for the good stuff. Well I am amateur at building systems, from Texas. Currently I have a F-250 super cab. I will be installing MTX thounderform box with (2) sundown audio SD-3 10 D4 powered by SAE-1500D. I have 4 kicker CS 6x8 in the doors that I plan on adding a SAX-100.4 V2 to. It's a work in progress so I'll be reading old post asking questions here and there, thanks for the add!!

I have been in car audio for 6-7 years and have had at least 15-16 sytems. My current system is 3 RL-I10's in a custom built box powered by a alpine pdx 1.1000. I also have a pdx 4.100 for my mids and highs. I am glad to be here. But i have some sad news...i was laid off in mid november and i might have to start parting out my system to keep paying my bills. Hey all. I have read some things I would like to know more about. Especially what people are doing with enclosure builds. I probably won't have much to add to any conversation, but I wanted to say that I am watching. Hey whats up guys I just registered a few days ago but I finally decided to make my first post. Well I'm 16 years old and I drive a 04 Chevy Trailblazer. I dont have much done to it at all. So far this is my current setup: Headunit: Pioneer DEH-P980BT Speakers: some ok Pioneer 6.5's my cousin gave to me for free. They aren't that great but they sound way better than my stock ones anyway. I'm saving up for a better front stage though. I found the SSA site through a myspace group, caraudio:RESPEK. I have had an interest in car and home audio for the last 6 years, within the last two years I have learned a fair amount more than I once believed possible.
