Just getting back into the game. Have a 04 mountaineer. Soon to have 2 or 3 twelves in it. Have spent the last few weeks catching up on forums. Will post as i start to build.

I have been lurking around here for about 3 months, and most of my questions have been answered by reading through these threads, so I have made no post, yet. I found the SSA site through a myspace group, caraudio:RESPEK. I have had an interest in car and home audio for the last 6 years, within the last two years I have learned a fair amount more than I once believed possible. I would like to continue learning, and thus I am here.

Hello all I have been a lurker around a few forums for a long time and not new to car audio, but i recently got a new car (2001 audi a4) and want to take it to the next level. So I have been doing alot of searching and reading (hours a day) and posting a few places but i find myself reading posts here often so i thought i should just ask and get your opinions. Old school audio fan finally getting some beats put back into the ride. Looks like theres a lot of crap out there so I'll be needing some help looking for the good stuff. I ordered a Fi Q 12" like 9 mos ago and im finally getting around to installing it. I got my box done finally. http://s281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/w...si/King%20Kong/ But my question is I forgot if I got the 1 ohm or 2 ohm speaker. I tried emailing Fi and get no response. I dont see anything on the speaker showing me anything and I need to know how to wire it to my SAE-1000D Can anyone help? Thanks, Brian

Hy there, first of all, please excuse my english! I`m from Romania, Europe , and I`m a new proud member of a Fi Q15. I bought it from a friend of mine, so it`s secondhand. As far as I know, in my country are only two Fi subs (yeah, we don`t have an official dealer); so having a Fi it`s so exotic. Here, there are a lot of DD`s, GroundZero`s, and a few RE Audio`s and Dragster`s (i mean the brands that do our SPL records). Now I have to instal my sistem and build an enclosure for my Fi. I`m looking forward to reading your posts.

I ordered some 4 ohm evil6.5 mids and evil1 tweeters to go with a JAD900.5 amplifier in my 2016 Subaru impreza. SSA says they are out of 4 ohm tweeters. Should I be patient and wait for 4 ohm tweeters to get back in stock or just go for 8 ohm tweeters and 4 ohm mids? The JAD900.5 outputs 75 Watts RMS into 4 ohms

Im a 19 y.o. self proclaimed car audio addict who is always looking for something bigger and better. I currently have 2 12" Kicker CVR's in a sealed box with a Audiobahn A8000t amp. I know this is the ultimate newb set up but it hits pretty hard for me. I am looking to upgrade pretty soon to either a 12" AA Havoc or an FI BL in a ported box with a Elemental Designs Nine.1 amp or something very similar. I also currently have all stock electrical but plan on doing the big 3 and possibly a yellow top. i dont want to buy a larger alternator unless i absolutely have to. Hey all. I have read some things I would like to know more about. Especially what people are doing with enclosure builds. I probably won't have much to add to any conversation, but I wanted to say that I am watching. Hi all at SSA. Recently got a new car, and making some audio changes. I was leasing a 2010 Rogue that I put RSD coaxs in, and a Planet Audio P2250D powering two SA-10s. Got out of the lease, and in to an 07 Altima 2.5s. Big difference going from an open enviroment back to a trunk. Still have the SA-10s, now using a Cadence ZRS-C65 since the PA blew some mosfets. Switching the coaxs for comps powered by a DSC480. Anyway, Im sure Ill have some questions along the way, and will share what I can as things are done. Not sure what else to add here in an intro thread.
