Newbie Sign IN

well its been awhile since ive been in caraudio, i got in a wreck in a friends car couple months back and it set me back for awhile. now i just started working in caraudio once again with a new start being the only caraudio guy at linex of north texas its fun. just wanted to drop in and say hello again.

ok so I guess I should've made this my 1st post but I didn't scroll far enough down to see all the "new here" posts. oh well. anyways I'm Jason. I have a 2003 chevy avalanche. new to forums but not to SSA. I have 2 12in icons currently. but I'm planning on changing my whole system around. originally I planed for more sq. but it's just not loud enough for me. sooooo I'm still in the planning stage. but I've almost got it figured out.

I have been in car audio for 6-7 years and have had at least 15-16 sytems. My current system is 3 RL-I10's in a custom built box powered by a alpine pdx 1.1000. I also have a pdx 4.100 for my mids and highs. I am glad to be here. But i have some sad news...i was laid off in mid november and i might have to start parting out my system to keep paying my bills. I will be posting pics of my system soon Matt

Hello, I joined to get some insight on different setups and brands outside of mainstream products.. I haven't been around the scene since 1999 or so.

Well, the name is George. Car is a 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. The car has been with me for more than 10 yrs now and not much has been done. My audio has always come from Wal-Mart via Pioneer, Sony, Visionik, even Roadmaster. My first best subs were some JL 12w0's in a prowedge box that took me all summer to save for and I had to drive to Atlanta, Ga to get them. OI thought I was doing something. Then a guy from Montgomery had two Cerwin Vega Stroker 15"s in a Ford Explorer. We're a little slower here in lower Alabama for car audio.
