Newbie Sign IN

Ya whatever. I'm new here, I've been around home audio more than car audio, I'm running a sweet rig currently in my loft (HK AVR 235, Klipsch Kg2 Speakers, CD changer) and hope to add an IB sub shortly. My ride is a 1990 Acura Integra GS, but I also frequently drive my family's 1995 Land Rover Discovery (series 1). I'm 16 and I really love to run. Over the summer I put in 300+ miles plus a triathlon; cross country season I'm not sure how many more miles I ran. During XC though I badly stressed my hip and finally couldn't keep running through the pain. As much as it hurt me, I had to call it quits early on in the season. Old school audio fan finally getting some beats put back into the ride. Looks like theres a lot of crap out there so I'll be needing some help looking for the good stuff. I'm a big old school soundstream fan. Heres what I currently have burning a hole in my closet.. Soundstream stuff... USA 180 Rubicon 102 Reference 300 Reference 500 Reference 1000sx Class A 5.0 Class A 6.0 Class A 10.0 The Continuum 1 SPL 12 1 Exact 12.... I've already posted a few times in 1-2 threads on here but heck, i'm still new! Just wanted to say hi to everyone here.

I have been lurking around here for about 3 months, and most of my questions have been answered by reading through these threads, so I have made no post, yet. I found the SSA site through a myspace group, caraudio:RESPEK. I have had an interest in car and home audio for the last 6 years, within the last two years I have learned a fair amount more than I once believed possible. I would like to continue learning, and thus I am here.

Hey all. I have read some things I would like to know more about. Especially what people are doing with enclosure builds. I probably won't have much to add to any conversation, but I wanted to say that I am watching. I am a DCON 12" owner as well and will be looking at what others have done and experienced in their enclosure builds. Keep the info flowin!!!

Aloha everyone, my name is Chris just moved to utah from hawaii. New place, new car, ready for some new sounds. Going to do a FI ib3 18 in a 05 legacy gt. My prior car a 04 infiniti g35 was pretty basic with DLS nordica comps on a rainbow ipaul 4.300, DLS coaxs in rear but not hooked up and variety of different sub stages 2 favorite being a mx12 on a aq2200 and 4 id8v3 on a zapco dc1100. I like to keep it simple, but wanted to try new and different things. Im sure ill get a chance to learn plenty from everyone here, so thanks in advance!!

hey everyone, just checking in and getting ready to start on my build but need advice. Build consist so far of 2 BM mkIII, and thinking of running 1 sundown SAZ-1000D , and still searching for components and a amp to power them. The vehicle is a 09 f150 super crew.

Well I am amateur at building systems, from Texas. Currently I have a F-250 super cab. I will be installing MTX thounderform box with (2) sundown audio SD-3 10 D4 powered by SAE-1500D. I have 4 kicker CS 6x8 in the doors that I plan on adding a SAX-100.4 V2 to. It's a work in progress so I'll be reading old post asking questions here and there, thanks for the add!!

Like the title says, I've always had systems in my cars and followed forums like SSA and SMD back in high school, for the past couple of years I've cut back and now I'm started to put together a new setup for the spring. Currently I'm running a Kicker ZX700.5 with Diamond Audio components in the front doors, Alpine Type R 6x9's in the rear deck and a DC lvl 3 12".

Hello my name is Jason. I have been searching through multiple forums for information and have joined a few that I have found worthwhile joining. Currently I own a 2008 Tundra double cab. I am currently running an Alpine headunit. Morel Tempo Ultra 6.5" separates on a Zapco ST-X4 SQ. My substage is a single Stereo Integrety HST-15 in a ported box tuned to 25 Hz. It is on a Taramps MD 5000.1. I have a Dayton Audio DSP-408 I plan to install soon so I can run the Morels active. I am using the Tundra as a test vehicle for when I can afford a new Jeep Wrangler and can apply my knowledge to a full system build. I look forward to all the information and answers I will find here…

Hello , my name is Mike i recently moved to Va from Mi i have always been into great sounding audio car or home.I have been browsing these forums recently and i realy enjoy them.So the time has come to put a system into my car , i have always wanted to do so but funds were just not there.Well now that i got my sh*t togather i am ready to jump in head first.So i am hoping to educate myself a bit more thanks to these forums.Over the next month i will be purchasing my system piece by piece aswell as discussing my choices and asking for opinions.

Im a 19 y.o. self proclaimed car audio addict who is always looking for something bigger and better. I currently have 2 12" Kicker CVR's in a sealed box with a Audiobahn A8000t amp. I know this is the ultimate newb set up but it hits pretty hard for me. I am looking to upgrade pretty soon to either a 12" AA Havoc or an FI BL in a ported box with a Elemental Designs Nine.1 amp or something very similar. I also currently have all stock electrical but plan on doing the big 3 and possibly a yellow top. i dont want to buy a larger alternator unless i absolutely have to.
