Newbie Sign IN

Just a newbie and got word about this site from caraudio.com. I was startin to not like that place at all so hopefully this forum is a lil better. Well anyways there's already a couple of posts about that so i'll just say my hello and begin readin up. Ok, well after 10 years, I'm back and I came straight back here. First off, I want to say I'm happy this company, community, and forum is still around. I got a ton of help 10 years ago and I learned so much. Seeing the SSA store over the past week and browsing the forum brought me back. I already learned so much but see that I need to learn so much more. As the title suggests, I'm getting back into car audio with only an untouched SI Magnum I bought based on recommendations back in 2008. However, I now have a 2016 Honda Accord and some money to spend on a simple SQ system. The car has a stock 4 speaker system, and frankly, it sucks. I'm stuck at understanding what …

Hello everyone. I am from southern maryland and love working on my truck. I work for a G.M. dealer so working on electrical and fixing vehicles (at work or home) is my thing. I love bumpin down the road and in my spare time i have a gas r/c boat i play with being as i also live on the water. My current project is my daily driver, a '98 s10 3 door. Currently it has 2 12" kicker cvx's, kicker zx500 amp (underpowered i know) and a kenwood headunit that is fully compatible with my Iphone. Hey guys, I'm a 19 year old college student who loves some clean bass. I listen to mainly southern rap and oldschool hip hop. Anything from S.U.C to Wu-Tang. I currently have 2 12'' memphis c3 subs on a memphis mc1.1100 amp in a ported factory box. They hit hard, but I want something less punchy... something thats smooth, deep, and rich. What's fellow audiophiles. New from southeast Ohio. Been in the game mildly since 1998. Had kids drifted away came back and was like wtf happened. Fosgate, MTX, JL and Kicker no longer run the landscape. Still learning about these newer (to me) brands. Put an AB XFL 15 in my Durango on my 15 year old Diamond Audio Amps. I'll post the install later if there a sub for it. I went to Slamology last year and got the itch to go bigger so here I am. Hope I don't ask too many questions and am able to help out where I can.

So far Excessive Amperage Alternator 2 Orion HCCA 15.2 Skar Audio 4500 (Also have a US Amps AX3200...TRYING TO FIND ANOTHER ONE LOL!) more to come as I find deals.
