Hi, I'm Mick, new to this forum, not to audio...was an installer for about 16 years. Done a bunch of huge installs, including all the show vehicles for the shop I was at. Been out of it a couple years, and just miss the scene....Actually came on here because I was looking for a new sub to play with for my daily driver...just pre-ordered a Sundown SA-8, really intrigued me. Anyways, hope to get involved in some discussions on here, really love to talk audio!

hi im new to ssa and fi but not to audio i have a jl w3 in a 1988 chevy reg. cab s10 and i was wondering if the fi ssd could or would be better thanks mikey

Hello, my name is Thomas and i am going to school at Oklahoma University. I am currently living in norman and am about to be a second year sophomore in the engineering department lol. I drive a 2003 Hyunda Tiburon GT. I've heard from one person that 18" subs don't do so well in smaller cars. I was looking for some more input on this subject. I have a 15" RD Sonance currently that does just fine, but I've been looking into some Fi Subs and I'm considering the possibility of maybe a 15" or 18" Q or bl. Anyone have any suggestions on a sub and a size? LOL. Thanks everyone! Corey

Hey ladies and gents, Just stopping in to introduce myself. Name is Damion. Current setup is stock but that is only for the moment being. Currently in the process of gathering up a new system. My vehicle is a 2005 Acura RSX. Currently have: Focal 165 kf's components Clarion DPX11551 JL Audio 300/4 In the process of picking up an FI BL, Alpine 9887, 1/0 wiring, and sound deadening. Will be doing the big 3 to start out and then looking into future upgrades for an aftermarket alternator. Unfortunately with the new Honda's/Acura's they have a dual mode charging system. well i am new to ssa... coming from roe... i went to a comp in tuscon where i met ssaudio... and he told me to check out the form so here i am.... my current setup 1 15cvr.. 4.5cubes tunned to 32hrz audiobahn 8000t .. got it for 45 bucks lol cant complain.. stockdeck and comps for now 131.6db tl 06 malibu ltz futer setup.. 2 ssa 12s tunned to 32 kicker zx2500 big three extra batt new comps off amp not sure what yet oh an im sixteen for any one who cares...

found this website searching the web. i am trying to get a nice system together, and want to make sure i do it once and thats it for now...at least..lol.. i was gonna get 2 12" solo x's but hear that the rf t2's were better? than doing a little more research i found these speakers called fi btl's? now i dont what the heck to to..lol i currently bought a 2500.1 kicker amp. now looking for some subs.

Hey guys, checking in for my first post. Looking to get my 01' Yukon XL wired up with a stealth step up.. I was in the game back in the early 90's, wow things have changed. The re-learning process is very overwhelming with all of the NEW names and the so called OLD names under new management products. LOL

Well my name is Mike. I'm from Greenwood, IN. Been around ca.com for quite a while. Been into stereos for almost 3 years now and have been into cars since my dark ages. My current system consists of Kicker KS35 fronts, Pioneer HU(debating on which of my 2 I wana use), 2 AW1206T Subs, Power Acoustic A1800DB Amp. Plan on getting a set of 6.5 comps along w/ a set of 6x9s maybe. I am a trained ASE cert mechanic(passed this year and I'm only a jr in HS). I love cars and I love everything to do w/ engines. lots more about me but not enough time/effort to tell
