Hey everyone... been into car stereos since i was about 17, am now 22, be 23 in april. worked at the circuit city roadshop when i was 18, learned how to do the basic installs and alarms. never got into custom stuff, but have done fairly large system installs in my day. I drive a 1996 Toyota Tacoma 2wd regular cab automatic, I have done everything myself, notched the frame, raised the gas tank, lowered, welded the roll pan, tailgate handle, antenna, hood squirters, put a 2004 front clip on(core support, everything), painted the truck myself also, it was my first time doing all of this. Ive had a handful of stereos in it back when i was younger, bought the truck with 2 mtx…

Hello everyone. Im from New Port Richey, FL about 45 minutes NNW of Tampa. I have been reading these forums, and others, comparing products, reading opinions and doing research on different brands, in an attempt to do my own system. It is currently an "In Process" System as I am taking my time to make sure everything is done right. Here is a rundown of what I've got so far. '99 Ford F-150 Extended Cab Kenwood Excelon KDC-X994 ~ installed MBQuart DSC 4125 ~ to be installed under the drivers side rear seat Fi Audio x12 4ohm with BP Power Option ~ to be installed in a sealed box under the passenger side rear seat 1 set of Massive Audio CK6 Components ~ to be installed in th…

What's going on SSA? I saw a few links to discussions on this forum here and there, so I finally decided to go ahead and join up. My knowledge of car audio is limited, but I plan on soaking up as much as I can, and divulging what I do know freely. Thanks for having me.

Sup SSA, located in concord, if anyone is in the area of concord maybe you've seen my 03 White Tahoe rolling around. I just removed most of my setup. I currently have 2 18" Fi BTLs, 9.5cuft box tuned at 35hz,1 Kinetik Hc2000, 2 Audiopipe ap30001ds, Hifonics Txi4408, RE & Kenwood components, Pioneer Deh-5100ub, All Stinger Wiring. Im starting a new build soon, redoing my old 3-4yr old wiring from stinger and tsunami and poor electrical, new subwoofers (Fi BTL N3's Or N2's), new box maybe depending on the subs, Sound Digital sd8000.1d in the next month or 2, but for now i think ill be rocking audiopipe for a bit. I already have all my RF T1 Components in, 100sqft Fat…

Hey guys, checking in for my first post. Looking to get my 01' Yukon XL wired up with a stealth step up.. I was in the game back in the early 90's, wow things have changed. The re-learning process is very overwhelming with all of the NEW names and the so called OLD names under new management products. LOL

I just purchased a FI Q15 for a sealed application in a 95 Lexus SC coupe. I'll be using the 'spare tire' location for the box and should be able to get at least 2.25 cubic feet of volume. The sub will be driven by a JL Audio HD750/1. This car is basically a show car with big power and I wanted to add some finishing touches to the sound system and I think the FI Q15 will give me what I want ( more sound quality than SPL ). Currently I have a Pioneer AVIC Z110BT headunit, JL Audio ZR650 components in the front, JL Audio C5 6.5 coax's in the back deck being driven by a JL Audio HD600/4. The FI Q15 will be replacing a JL Audio 10W7 that is in a custom box on the left si…

Hey guys I'm Leon username LSpindenIII Have been here a few times but just now signing up. I am in the South Eastern area of Minnesota I have a 97 Chevy Cavalier that I am still working on. Current setup is a Elemental Designs 13AV.2 off a Hifonics Brutus BXi2006D. I also have a 96 Pontiac Sunfire GT. It is going to be my track car mainly. Currently is all stock except it's fully gutted and added an intake. Future plans is getting another 2.4 and tranny, doing a motor build with all forged internals, port and polished head, oversized valves, secret cams, then slapping on a supercharger and water/meth injection.

Hello everyone. Of course, I'm new to SSA. Just getting into car audio and recently heard about SSA products. Decided to join this forum due to the great customer service and company loyalty I'm seeing across this forum. I'm currently debating on purchasing a SSA product(12" Xcon), looks like a great company with great supporters. See you guys around!

Hey everyone. I'm sure some of you know me from other forums(maybe as RyanM923), but I'm just now getting my feet wet at ssa. I figured I might as well go to the site that features a lot of my favorite brands on it.

Hey guys, I'm new to the ssa community and I just had a question about whether I would be better off with 2 12's (most likely fi q 12's ported and tuned low) or one really loud 15 (most likely a DC xl 15)..obviously ported.. Ok first of all, ill start with the basics..I drive a Volkswagen jetta so the most I can squeeze is 3.5-4 cu. ft...and for power I've got the audioque 2200d and a 220 ho alternator with 1 red top (starter battery) and the big 3 with 4 Ga...now given my trunk is relatively small..I would probably be better off with 3.5 cu. Ft. Recommended for the DC xl but..its taller and would most likely not have enough air space to bounce back off of my trunk lid or…

Hey guys, just wanted to say hey to everyone. I've been a member of Termpro for years but never posted much, then became a member of SMD back when there was only like 100 of us on there. I've heard of this forum quite a bit, and now that I'm on the computer a lot with the jobs I do, I figured I would sign up for SSA. I figured it was just gonna be like most of the audio forums, but I gotta say, this place is pretty damn nice! Quality content, lots of information, and everyone seem to be pretty cool here. Between this forum and SMD, my new build this spring should be the biggest, baddest build I've ever done! Anyways, just wanted to say hi to everyone, and I'm glad to be …
