Well, I've been researching newer brands and products on the forum for awhile...figured I may as well atleast get in my first post. I'm pretty good w/ the search function so I hadn't had much need to post, but here it is. Been through countless different systems in countless different cars over the past 11 years. You know the drill, 2-3x's as many systems as cars. More of a DIY'er, but now I'm lazy and happen to be old friends w/ a master installer so I choose to save myself some time nowadays. Currently organizing a build for an 03 Expedition that was recently acquired, more to come...stay tuned. (Wish I still had my PG MS2125, bet amp I ever had.)

Looking to run a pair of 18's in my Burb eventually. Never built a ported box- but I've been reading on here and studying install how to's on youtube- i know it sounds lame- but they have helped. I downloaded sketch up and this is only my 2nd design, so be gentle.LOL Designed for my 01 Suburban- it is my creek/river vehicle- so the indent is for my ice chest. Used http://www.mobileinformationlabs.com/HowTo-1Woofer-Box-CAL%20Port%20lenth%201.htm to calculate the port. 11.3 cubes after displacements 140 sq in port (~12.5in/cube) tuned to 34 Still have some supports to add, and the front flap will be potential amp rack area. The subs face forward 1) to protect the s…

Hi folks, new poster but old owner of a q12 sub. I love the driver but I can't use it right now because my bonehead buddy tore the surround with his finger lifting the sub up one day. There's a 1" horizontal tear in the surround now and I'd like to know if I can repair it or if I have to send it in for a recone. Also, it's an older dual stack motor, is there a way to figure out the options on it without tearing it apart? Thanx for any help.
