Hi Everyone !! It's been about 10 years or so since I've been in the Car Audio game. I used to run Fosgate and AVI stuff when I was younger ( I'm not old by any means) I moved to Home Theatre for the last while but I am now getting back to the Good Stuff I've met with 3 installers in my area, 1 of which I remember was around a long time ago. The vehicle is a Saturn Vue. We have decided on Focal/Audison setup with their Clarion DXZ945MP Unit to round it out. Either the Polyglass 6.5 Components or the K2P in the front along with an Access or Polyglas 13" in the rear custom boxed, all run by the Audison LRx 4.300. Hey what's up. I just got into the car audio scene because I just got a '06 Scion tC and want to upgrade the sound. In my old car I had an Eclipse head unit, MBQuart components in front and back, and an MTX amp powering it on. I didn't do much research...just went to CarToys and picked out what i liked in my price range. In my tC I plan on dropping a sub...so I've been doing a good deal of research through forums. Well my name is Mike. I'm from Greenwood, IN. Been around ca.com for quite a while. Been into stereos for almost 3 years now and have been into cars since my dark ages. My current system consists of Kicker KS35 fronts, Pioneer HU(debating on which of my 2 I wana use), 2 AW1206T Subs, Power Acoustic A1800DB Amp. Plan on getting a set of 6.5 comps along w/ a set of 6x9s maybe. I am a trained ASE cert mechanic(passed this year and I'm only a jr in HS). I love cars and I love everything to do w/ engines. lots more about me but not enough time/effort to tell

Hey all. I was doing some research for my new system and found a lot of good info on this site, so decided to join up. I have a 2008 c6 that needs some audio help. Right now it has pioneer Avic z3 and polk components. I just purchased an re audio slim line 10 and us amps ax600de (cant wait to install them). Searching for a us amps for front stage and plan on pulling the polk db speakers and putting in some re xxx components. We will see. Ive been in and out of car audio. During my teenage years I was in to spl and owned the ol school orion hcca amps (loved those). Now, Im getting old and not looking to crack any windows!!

so here is how i found this site. being from charlotte nc i knew about sundown and SI. i blew up my kicker kx1200.1 yesterday and not wanting that nasty sloppy power it was giving out decided to get a sundown 1000d. i picked it up about an hour and a half ago plus some 0ga wire. i have to say it isnt as powerful as the kicker but the soud difference is night and day. the kicker was very sloppy and had a very uncontrolled sound to it, if that makes any sense. the sundown has surprised me in clarity and the output is plenty for my 2 type r 12's. now its just time to rebuild my box because its put together like crap, and sounds like it to.

Hi all! Just another new guy here, I have been into the scene for a few years though. I'm attempting to make the jump from fabricator to designer/tuner/fabricator. I have built cars from the ground up for years, even went to school for it, but have never done the audio side of the build. I just got a new toy, a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 regular cab.
