Hey what's up. I just got into the car audio scene because I just got a '06 Scion tC and want to upgrade the sound. In my old car I had an Eclipse head unit, MBQuart components in front and back, and an MTX amp powering it on. I didn't do much research...just went to CarToys and picked out what i liked in my price range. In my tC I plan on dropping a sub...so I've been doing a good deal of research through forums. I found this forum when a member referred me to it. I want to gain knowledge through you guys and share whatever I have learned myself on the way. Hey, im new to this I got a 98 expedition with 7inch touch screen with a clarion eq 0guage autotek m4000.1, American bass vfl4480 haven decided which One I wantto keep in, 2x12's xcons.. evolution audio dx300.4 for my doors Which is pioneers ts g8644. I dont like them dont know who to switch to 6 Rockford tweeters. Im pretty much on here looking for advise on a couple of Issues I'm having, 1. Light dimming, 2. Altenator whine, 3. I NEED A BOX, lol Anyone input would be much appreciated.....

Hey how's it going everyone my name is Hideo and I'm from Hawaii, and I am finding this forum to be very helpful and full of knowledge. I am currently running a small system in my 4x4 Cherokee which consists of a 18 BL loaded for daily running off of a SAZ-1500, a PRS-880 HU and working on my frontstage which is gonna be running active off a old school SS Reference amp temporarily. As for electricals I got two redtops and the big 3 is almost done, I just been real slim on time. It's not much but it does the job, shooots......

hey guys gotta couple questions right off the bat, in my car i have a 4 channel amp for my speakers and a mono block amp for my sub, i dont know what the hz's and stuff on the amps do, is there any way i can tweak them to make my speakers and sub slap louder? i dont know anything bout the hz's hahaha plz help me. i have a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X794 for my deck, Focal Access 165CA1 in the front, and a 13JLw6 with a jl XD600/1 mono block amp and a JL J2-320.4 for my speakers if that helps you guys help me. cause on my deck theres so many setting i dont even what to mess with. i would like my vocals to really loud and my sub to hit real hard, please help Thanks!

Hi y'all, this is actually my second post because I replied to the "How did you find SSA" thread first lol. I joined for education. I can't honestly say that it won't be only for the short tem, as I only have one vehicle to work with (my other vehicle is a new GM and apparently they're damn near impossible to upgrade). Hey all. I was doing some research for my new system and found a lot of good info on this site, so decided to join up. I have a 2008 c6 that needs some audio help. Right now it has pioneer Avic z3 and polk components. I just purchased an re audio slim line 10 and us amps ax600de (cant wait to install them). Searching for a us amps for front stage and plan on pulling the polk db speakers and putting in some re xxx components. We will see. Ive been in and out of car audio. During my teenage years I was in to spl and owned the ol school orion hcca amps (loved those). Now, Im getting old and not looking to crack any windows!!
