Hello, I joined this forum to learn about this new company SoundSplinter, well at least new to me. Speaking of which how long has SS been around. To be honest I have been a JL Audio Fan, they make the best Amps hands down. But I don't think there subs are a good value at all. So I have been in search of a new subwoofer to replace my 12w6v2's. I am now a father, (my son just turned 1 last Friday!) So I don't have the need or space for big bass system. But I still want to crank it when I am ridin solo. I actually just reinstalled my system about a week ago, because babies and pregnant woman don't like bass. I am looking to get a single 8 or 10. The RL-I8 is very impressive…

I dont like how when im at home, and viewing a topic, the posts arent displayed, i have to click on each one individually. it says Posts in this topic: and the lists each post, i want it like regular forums, its like that when im on my ipod or at school internet.... thanks for your help...

well, as you can tell im new to the forum. im sorta new to the whole audio world but ive been into it for the past 2 years. my names cody and im from south mississippi. as far south as you can get w/o getting your feet wet actually. right now my current setup is a memphis mojo 10 and a pr 500.1 amp. i know the amp kinda blows but im in the process of selling both things and going to get 4 dd 9510 series. i should have 2 after saturday because of my bday. cant wait to see what this forum is all about. i know i will get all the help i need and then some. later

had systems in the past but didnt ever really go in depth with them just got what ever the guy at the audio shop told me would be best but now starting to try and get into it and learn installs and box building/ tuning myself and stuff and eventually want to compete once i get my system how i want it and at a point i think i have a chance lol

Hi peeps, got directed over here by a current member (Mega Heavy Bass) as I'm selling a bit (just the one bit) of kit to him.. Had a quick look areound, looks like a good site.. I'm out of the audio scene now (dont have a car since my last one got nicked ) anyways, my background in car audio can be viewed Here . Hopefully I'll have the money to get back into it one day (with a better car!) but I'm not getting my hopes up.. so I'll just lurk around here and keep looking at everyone's hard work! I've been on the **** and ca forums for quite some time and LOVE car audio. my current setup is as follow: HU (JVC Chameleon) 4 Chan. (Alpine PDX 4 HUNNID) Mono (Hifonics BRZ16hunnid) ...something like that front stage (DLS Ultimate components) Rear (hertz 4.25's ...forgot the names but meh they'll be replaced soon) sub( DC lvl 4 with XL softparts in 2.0cu @ 28hz) Im also goofy and open to meeting new TRUE audio heads!!!

Hi everybody i am from southern Oregon, im in 12th grade and know for the rest of my life i am going to be obsessed with making my current vehicle loud. Right now I'm in a 1996 Geo Metro Lsi being different. The first big project for this car is a dcon 15.

I am a bit lost with the SEARCH tool here. There are tips and tricks that I feel I am missing because my searches return incorrect matches. ie. big + tree or big AND tree or "big tree" I don't find relevant matches for 2 or 3 word searches.

Hey guys I have been out of the car audio scene for too long and starting to get back into it. I have been scouring the web and researching and it seems like everywhere I look there's an ssa banner or logo so I thought I'd check you guys out and I was hoping you guys could help to get me back in the game and maybe answer some questions (I'm sure I'll have some) along the way.

Sup everyone, I'm a SPL lover from Hawaii. Though I don't have lots of knowledge about car audio, I've got a pretty decent stereo in my room, equipped with the Dayton 15" 1000W sub, with an old 2 ch. Harman Kardon amp. The amp is pretty old, and it doesn't even have provisions for a sub. A car audio Speaker-> Line Level convertor was thrown in there somewhere. I'll be posting more about my home system in the Home Audio sticky in a bit. Other then that, I don't have a car system yet... I don't quite have a car suitable for one, as my current ride has no metal that you could bolt anything to. Don't think that means that my ride is crap though. Its whats on the insi…

so here is how i found this site. being from charlotte nc i knew about sundown and SI. i blew up my kicker kx1200.1 yesterday and not wanting that nasty sloppy power it was giving out decided to get a sundown 1000d. i picked it up about an hour and a half ago plus some 0ga wire. i have to say it isnt as powerful as the kicker but the soud difference is night and day. the kicker was very sloppy and had a very uncontrolled sound to it, if that makes any sense. the sundown has surprised me in clarity and the output is plenty for my 2 type r 12's. now its just time to rebuild my box because its put together like crap, and sounds like it to.

well here is the hello I have been reading the board a couple days and deicided to join. Found it looking up amps for my new system. My old ones got stolen about 1 moth ago. So I am doing a large overhaul of my equipment. and this place has the best info so far. and a good sense of humor

well would like to say im now a new member to this site and loving it so far... alittle about me im from lacey washington and getting into this audio scene i got a 2001 4runner and was looking to do a 10 inch sub with about 1000watts thinking about sundown, dd, or even dc sub for amps im leaning more towards sundown but idk yet i got a new born so funds are gonna be spent wisely lol. well hope i find eveything i need on here laters
