Hi all! Just another new guy here, I have been into the scene for a few years though. I'm attempting to make the jump from fabricator to designer/tuner/fabricator. I have built cars from the ground up for years, even went to school for it, but have never done the audio side of the build. I just got a new toy, a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 regular cab. I know a regular cab isn't the optimal choice do to the lack of space, but I couldn’t pass up the deal. I have rims, tires, lift, go-fast parts, and everything else in the garage or on its way, so onto the audio for me. Saw the link to here on the other site so I thought I'd check it out. Seems like a great site and hope I can contribute, if not I'm willing to sit back and learn something.

This is my first post on SSA. Apparently I registered a long time ago, but never posted here. I actually never heard of the website until I purchased an ICON about 2wks ago. I then came and tried to register on the forums, but they said my username was already taken (which has never happened to me before). I guessed a couple of my older p/w's and got it right, so now I can be a cool SSA member too!

EH! SSA! You guys are my saviours for audio. Best place to buy specialty audio that shippes to Canada without depleating my wallet! So, naturally, when I found out you had a forum I joined. Hello, I joined this forum to learn about this new company SoundSplinter, well at least new to me. Speaking of which how long has SS been around. To be honest I have been a JL Audio Fan, they make the best Amps hands down. But I don't think there subs are a good value at all. So I have been in search of a new subwoofer to replace my 12w6v2's. I am now a father, (my son just turned 1 last Friday!) So I don't have the need or space for big bass system. But I still want to crank it when I am ridin solo. I actually just reinstalled my system about a week ago, because babies and pregnant woman don't like bass. I am looking to get a single 8 or 10. The RL-I8 is very impressive…

I am a bit lost with the SEARCH tool here. There are tips and tricks that I feel I am missing because my searches return incorrect matches. ie. big + tree or big AND tree or "big tree" I don't find relevant matches for 2 or 3 word searches.

(Alpine PDX 4 HUNNID) Mono (Hifonics BRZ16hunnid) ...something like that front stage (DLS Ultimate components) Rear (hertz 4.25's ...forgot the names but meh they'll be replaced soon) sub( DC lvl 4 with XL softparts in 2.0cu @ 28hz) Im also goofy and open to meeting new TRUE audio heads!!!

Hi y'all, this is actually my second post because I replied to the "How did you find SSA" thread first lol. I joined for education. I can't honestly say that it won't be only for the short tem, as I only have one vehicle to work with (my other vehicle is a new GM and apparently they're damn near impossible to upgrade). Anyways, I'll have some dumb questions, so apologies in advance!

Hi peeps, got directed over here by a current member (Mega Heavy Bass) as I'm selling a bit (just the one bit) of kit to him.. Had a quick look areound, looks like a good site.. I'm out of the audio scene now (dont have a car since my last one got nicked ) anyways, my background in car audio can be viewed Here .
