Hi all, Ive been trolling here for awhile getting ideas and researching various things and I finally have a reason to post. Im posting because I need some advice. I had 2 15" alpine type R subs come way for dirt cheap. $150 for both I need help deciding on an enclosure, an amp, and even a head unit. whats up guys, been a member for a little time but never posted anything... Anyways, i'm a full time college student and getting back into car audio after a few year absence. Right now i have a JL Audio 12w6v2 in a sealed box powered by a JL 250/1, some VR 6.5 components that are in the stock locations and a RF 200.2... I'm ok with them but i'm looking at getting some Sundown equipment to play with sooner rather than later. sorry for the long winded hello

Whats good, I'm new here and to the whole car audio thing as well. Been browsing these forums for a bit and just recently decided to register lol. Currently getting a 15" Fi BL and would like to have the build done before the end of this month. I posted in the Fi section if you guys know the answers to any of my questions which would be awesome. I'm 18 and a broke college student haha so I cant afford to screw the build up. Will get something better of course when i get the money but the Fi BL will do for now. I'll definitely be a part of these forums, as i'm obsessed with all of this already. Good to be here.

No, he never had any record worth having during the time I knew him, and yeah I read that shit about the blue truck but that was shit so I know it didn't work on the meter. No matter, the guy can drive the balls off a race car and was one of my best friends back before he corrupted me with his box ideas. I am from Fort Wayne IN new to the site but not to car audio. I have been into car audio since I was old enough to drive thanks to people like Alma Gates, Scott Owens, Gary Biggs, and Chris Norris over the years I have learned alot from people in car audio and hope to continue learning from more. There is alot of awsome videos from you all and hope they keep up the good work and carry on the car audio industry.As to me I dont now much about SSA but plan to learn alot after I start a new build in my Explorer so with that all said thanks to anyone that is in this forum and hope to get some good response from you guys and from SSA. Hey everyone just thought i would drop in and give a hello. I am new to the forums but not new to the game. I come from Minnesota so it's hard to find anyone who knows what FI really is. Just last year I bought a 15" Q and threw it in a 3.7 cft3, 32 hz tuned ported box and powered by a Crossfire 1000D @ 1 ohm. Really amazed at the SQ and how it can rape the lows. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and i am also looking for some nice 5.25 components.

Yo i'm a lil' southern boy from charleston SC haha and i was lookin for some help on my system setup. What i have planned so far is a 10" 2 ohm FI Q for my acura rsx. (It's a hatchback and there's nothing between the seats and the trunk) I already have some polk component speakers which will do for now. For the amp situation i was thinkin either a dsc1000.1 ( DSC1000.1 - MB Quart 1 Ch 1000 Watt Amplifier ) for the "Q" and a 4 channel discuss amp for the tweeters and front speakers, or 1 discuss amp, and a sundown audio amp wherever it would be better suited (4 chan. or mono) Sorry if that made no sense. Hey everyone, I just ordered one 15" Xcon for my 2005 Dodge Ram. I was originally running two 12" RD Sonances before one of the surrounds came apart... So I figured it was time for a change.

I was wondering if any one has a cut list and a box design for a sa-8 ported-- I orderd a box design from ssa and have yet to get it ( back in March), got the sa-8 and amp , but no disign - have miss two shows cause of the no desing show up- so if any one could help I would really appricate it , I have heard great things about ssa but it seems there having problems with the turnaround time/ or even answering e-mails.$40 ids alot for a design I would think it would not take more than 1- 1/12 weeks to get thank you
