Somehow, some way my search for one of my favorite people, Jeff Blair, has led me here. No, he never had any record worth having during the time I knew him, and yeah I read that shit about the blue truck but that was shit so I know it didn't work on the meter. No matter, the guy can drive the balls off a race car and was one of my best friends back before he corrupted me with his box ideas. (Jeff, if you are reading this, you actually made me one of the best low watt box builders ever, wish we'd stay'd in touch.) This is half flamebait to find him, so if you do, pass him my way.

I am from Fort Wayne IN new to the site but not to car audio. I have been into car audio since I was old enough to drive thanks to people like Alma Gates, Scott Owens, Gary Biggs, and Chris Norris over the years I have learned alot from people in car audio and hope to continue learning from more. There is alot of awsome videos from you all and hope they keep up the good work and carry on the car audio industry.As to me I dont now much about SSA but plan to learn alot after I start a new build in my Explorer so with that all said thanks to anyone that is in this forum and hope to get some good response from you guys and from SSA. Hi. my name is Keith and i am by no means new to the internet or forums. i have been doing research bit by bit for a audio set up for the past few years. I am a 2111 small arms repairman stationed at camp geiger school of infantry near camp lejeune. i will make a post with the details of what i know and dont know, what i want and what i have. i am looking forward to the advice and help i can get from the forum and hope i can complete my goals for my system.

Hey everyone just thought i would drop in and give a hello. I am new to the forums but not new to the game. I come from Minnesota so it's hard to find anyone who knows what FI really is. Just last year I bought a 15" Q and threw it in a 3.7 cft3, 32 hz tuned ported box and powered by a Crossfire 1000D @ 1 ohm. Really amazed at the SQ and how it can rape the lows. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and i am also looking for some nice 5.25 components.

Yo i'm a lil' southern boy from charleston SC haha and i was lookin for some help on my system setup. What i have planned so far is a 10" 2 ohm FI Q for my acura rsx. (It's a hatchback and there's nothing between the seats and the trunk) I already have some polk component speakers which will do for now. For the amp situation i was thinkin either a dsc1000.1 ( DSC1000.1 - MB Quart 1 Ch 1000 Watt Amplifier ) for the "Q" and a 4 channel discuss amp for the tweeters and front speakers, or 1 discuss amp, and a sundown audio amp wherever it would be better suited (4 chan. or mono) Sorry if that made no sense. I'm planning a system. So far, it's gonna be a havoc 12 with some sort of sundown powering it. Here's my issue: when it comes to ohms and all that other stuff, I'll admit I get a little confused. I was planning my system based on a simple premise: If amplifier A puts out X amount of watts at 2ohms, and you pair it with a 2ohm sub, you would get X amount of watts. Easy enough, right? Well now, I'm getting the impression that things go further than that. I had planned on getting a sundown 3500D amp, considering it puts out 1,750w at 2ohms. That with the 12" havoc 2ohm sub would be a nice fit, right? (AA states the havoc to be 1,250RMS and I could go easy on the amp power) B…
