Hello everyone im new to the forum, I live in buffalo ny . I've been in the audio game for about 10 years now and my knowledege is inceasing daily but researching and forums like these. I look foward to gaining some great info here.

My setup in my 1999 Dakota is a Alpine PDX-5, JX 1000/1, Alpine R components in front, pioneer TSDs in the back, and i used to have a 5th gen type R that blew on 1000 watts. I was planning on being pleasantly surprised when i bought an american sub from an american company SSA but its been 3 days since my card has been charged and my SA-12 still says Awaiting Fulfillment and my messages are not getting any replies :(

Hello everyone. After reading through new member rules and regulations, I can see this is a no-nonsense group. Good, I'll get right to it. This install started as I have aquired (3) 4' x 8' sheets of 1" MDF and like my music louder than necessary and typically in the rock/rap genres. On top of the material and shop to work in, I have all the tools required for making a good system (table saw, trim gun, router, electrical meters, function generator, D/C power supply, oscilloscope, etc.) And the know-how to use these tools correctly. What's going on all. I have been lurking on the site for the past 6 months, reading, learning and such. Have always had car audio in my rides since 1997. In 1997, I purchase my first vehicle 1997 Blazer ZR-2. Well I needed subs and put two Eclipse SW6000s 10 inch in there. I then had a 1988 Toyota Cressida that was rocking two 10 inch Eclipse SW 88100, ran by an MTX 81000D amp. Then a 2000 Escalade that I moved the two 10 Eclipse to and added a 10 inch Eclipse SW9100, all powered by Hifonic Brutus amps. Then there is a 1998 Suburban with two 12 inch MTX 7500, powered by a Hifonics amp....THEN I stumbled across this board and learned about building a ground pounding…

I have a box under my back seat that has a mounting depth of 6.7 inches... i am thinking about getting two fi x 12s, i have a 4000 watt mono block autotek amp.. any better ideas on woofers?

Hey guys my name is Steve and I am new to the SSA scene. Iv been into car audio for as long as I can remember. I have always had a stereo myself and enjoy helping friends with theirs. Was looking to buy a Sundown-SAX1200 for my W6's. Bought one from SSA and found the SSA forums so I though I would join up and introduce myself The sundown will be replacing my Orion 600D so I cant wait to hear the difference in power! So I am not really "new" to forums I started out on a different forum and just got tired of all the B.S. over there and went looking for a more informative forum for my car audio needs. Said forum seemed to be more about talking shit about someones set up if they didn't have a certain brand of equipment and not enough helping each other out.
