Hey guys, I used to be an active reader of caraudio.com forums but got tired of them and got interested here. Anyways, a bit about me I drive a '91 Nissan 240sx with: Clarion DXZ745mp -Crystal CSc60s Components powered by a PA 400.2 Amp -Adire Shiva Mark IV in a sealed 1 cuft box powered by JBL bp600 Amp -Knukonceptz wiring all around I wish to upgrade anything and everything. I will admit I lost major interest in car performance, racing, etc (my car was lined for up an sr20det drop but I decided to not follow through) and now my focus is on car audio. How/Why the hell? My wife drives a 2003 Honda Accord V6 sedan. She has a 300 watts RMS at 2 ohm on the 5 channel amp and wants a sub. I was on DIYMA and someone suggested I look into the 12" SSA DCON. I read the specs and did some searching. The price fit our budget but my question is...how will this sound with 300 watts at 2 ohm in a sealed for example 1.0 to 1.20 cubic ft sealed box? I read that people prefer the ported box but I am looking for something sealed but I am open for suggestions. Hello all, From new york here. Everyone told me fi was better then memphis but i have some questions to be answered. i guess i could ask them here seeming this is my first post... right? Okay, So i have a 2001 jetta, i dont know how big my trunk is and i suck at math. I was orignally going to get 2 12's btl but everyone told me that i would neeed to upgrade my alternator and the big 3. is this true? so my other option was to go with the 2 12's BL, but i dont know if i would still need to upgrade anything electrical. but either way, i would perfer to get the btl but dont have enough money to get a new alternator and the big 3 okay, now either way if i were to go with the b…

Have a brand new Tiburon that myself and stratusrt01 will be filling with goodies when I get back from my deployment. Blank slate, deployment money, car is a hatch, possibilities are endless! Like the site setup btw. Very user friendly compared to some others.

I've been out of car audio for 15 years now and am just starting to get back in. Can't wait to get some good info from people who actually know something about car audio. It's a refreshing change from customer reviews and other forum posts like "I got 4 12"s that slam so hard my girlfriend went into labor!"

Hey guys, not much of a computer person but I read a lot of threads here when I need info, so I figured it was time to join. I Hail from Madison, WI but moved to sw Kansas a couple years ago for work as an airplane mechanic. Car audio is a weekend hobby for me so my knowledge is fairly limited. Working on a sealed trunk build for my two Fi BL's as we speak. Have a few questions about amp/ headunit settings and adjustments so will be posting in the near future.
