Hi all, Just thought I'd take a moment to say hello, as I just joined this site. I am/ have been a member on several other sites for the past 10 years or so... not a prolific poster, but always interested to learn more form those that are more experienced than I. I have not dedicated much time over the past few years to Car Audio, but I am looking to change that over the next few months. Anyway, that's about it for now... going to spend some time searching/ reading and getting a feel for the place! Cheers!

Hey everyone, I drive a 96 3.0l V6 Camry xle 4 door and I got into the car audio game about 4 months ago when i bought a bunch of stuff off Craigslist for 100 bucks. I bought 2 jl 12w0's, a box tuned to ? freq with about 3 cubes of space, a 4 channel amp that I'm bridging off 2 (I have no idea about wattage or anything about the amp, I can't find on google anywhere), 4 gauge amp kit, 2 coaxial polk speakers, and 2 3-way fosgate 6x9's. I have been playing that for the last four months and now i just am craving so much more. It just doesn't do it for me and I have big plans (for me) for my next build. Hey guys. I'm Dane. Was told by swagger_wagon468 to join here. Met him a couple weeks ago and we got to talking about my rig. I'm pretty new into the SPL world, and audio in general, so I'm not the smartest on the subject, but everyone has to start somewhere right? My first system was a cool concept. The box was built inside of the back seat. Sealed, had like .75 cubic ft of space. Was a Pioneer shallow mount 10". Blew that in a week. Went to a Memphis shallow mount 12", blew 7 of those and Memphis told me they wouldn't warranty them anymore. Then I went to a JL Audio 13tw5. Ive been in audio for longer than I care to admit. I recently decide to upgrade starting with a ssa Icon 12 d2. I currently have an older hifonics bx1500 running it but I dont like that amp much. its sloppy and doesnt put out much power. I used to run rockfords and lower powered subs, back in the day when a 700watt amp was big power. Anyway I am looking for recommendations on a good amp to pair with this sub, but of course wont break the bank in the process. 1500w to 2000w is what Im thinking for power. I'm just getting back into car audio after a 15 year break. Things sure have changed in 15 years.

New to the forums, lurked for awhile though lol. From chicago. Finally joined so i can get some suggestions on my next build. Currently i have a 2000 Impala with a set of PWX 6.5s in the doors ran by a MB Quart 100.4 I had a 10' ICON D1 till i messed it up. it was ran by a BD1500. I have knu 0 guage ran from the batt to the trunk and then 4 gauge audio technix for the amps. Have the doors deaden with 60mil from AT and a bit on the trunk. Current plans are swapping out the PWX for some RF pro mids. I have some vifa tweets i want to add on as well. As far as the ICON i am not sure what i can do with it. The issue i have is i was listening to it on the day i took the spare t…
