Hello everyone. Just checking in. Guess I'll be popping in over here every once in a while. Had a Magnum 12 in my Trans Am for quite a while. Have met Nick and he's a great guy with a great product and I hope to one day have his stuff in my car again. Maybe a set of 307s with a SI selected 6.5" midbass along with the sub I wish they'd build, but more on that later. Ive been in audio for longer than I care to admit. I recently decide to upgrade starting with a ssa Icon 12 d2. I currently have an older hifonics bx1500 running it but I dont like that amp much. its sloppy and doesnt put out much power. I used to run rockfords and lower powered subs, back in the day when a 700watt amp was big power. Anyway I am looking for recommendations on a good amp to pair with this sub, but of course wont break the bank in the process. 1500w to 2000w is what Im thinking for power. This sub is replacing a 12" infinity perfect if that tells you how long its been since I seriously researched my purchases. the dyno tests are nice but they tell…

I'm Travis and I'm from the South Central portion of PA, about 65 miles southwest of Carlisle. I have an 2002 Lancer OZ Rally I'm looking to shake apart. I've pre-ordered a sundown 2000d and that's all I have decided on so far. I haven't built my own setup in 11 years, back then I was a lot more ignorant, so decisions came easier and cost more. Any Lancer owners in here with pictures of their setup?

My system is in shambles right now. i have 2 soundsplinter rli-8's in my truck but one is not runnin right now becuase the brutus i had to push the 2 decided to crap out on me with only 6 hours on it. after it was smoked i found out a lot of hifonics amps had trouble at 1 ohm so it was a lesson learned haha. so i have 1 going on my component amp an old soundstream rubiconII300-2 blah its a great amp but not really what i want to use it for. well i guess this is my hello to the forum lol hope to talk to you all later...

hey sup guys and gals. Just wanted to drop in and join your forums and hope for a good community feedback and learn a few things. Im an audio enthusiast, but have been out of it for the last 5 years... (no car) I've been out of the loop with what good sound quality is as well as new developed subwoofer. So I recently bought an is300 and trying to work on buying pieces to fit the car sound system. So far, on hand i have is the Cadence iA4 for my components. Im still shopping around but not in a rush to get everything at once. So, for now, I'll stick around and learn of a few new things to come
