I'm new to this particular forum, I've been on caraudio.com and diyma for a while now, and I figured I may as well register here too! I drive a '96 S10 Blazer, and all I have in my vehicle now is two True Bass Solutions Ultra 8" subs in a 1.75 ft^3 enclosure tuned to 33 hz, and a Sundown SAE-1000D amplifier. I have an old school Zed-made US Acoustics USA-2075 2-channel and an old school Eclipse 3241 4-channel waiting to be used in a 3-way active setup, but I am undecided on the drivers I will use, so if you have any suggestions as to what 8" midbass, midrange, or tweeter are good, feel free to post them here or PM me. Hi, I'm a new member from Buckeye country aka OH...IO :-) I got re-involved in car audio once my son started driving a year ago. My last foray into car audio was back in the late 70s/early 80s so I have had to learn alot of new things. We have put an audio system in his 3000GT consisting of Pioneer 4900 hu, Rainbow coax in front, Polk 6x9 3 ways in rear (his choice as he wanted 'surround sound' but i tried to persuade him otherwise-)), and 2 12 type Rs currently in a sealed box. Going to build a ported box for them soon. Front/rear stage amp is Precision Power A1200/4, sub amp is Power Acoustik OV1-4000D, all wired via 1/0. I look forward to being a member here.

I am a bit lost with the SEARCH tool here. There are tips and tricks that I feel I am missing because my searches return incorrect matches. ie. big + tree or big AND tree or "big tree" I don't find relevant matches for 2 or 3 word searches.

well, this is my first time on the site. i can honestly say, ive been searching for a good car audio forum and i finally found one. even though im young, ive been into car audio for a couple years now. im still trying to finish my audio install in my silverado. have 2 memphis mojo 10s, 2 tarantula trx1500ds, 2 memphis 8s for door panel subs. and a 600 soundstream capcell. all the audio will be in fiberglass enclosures. my 2 10s are in a custom fiberglass centerconsole that i built myself.

Hello All, I was an installer at a local shop back when I was in high school. We sold mostly JL audio, Audiobahn, JVC, Power Acoustic and a few others I forgot. I am glad I found the site it seems they have more of an informative group here compared to some of the other forums related to this subject. hi everyone ive been a basshead forever but just really started getting into build a "REAL" system as of right now i have 2 treo te dual 4 ohm 15's w/ a P.O.S legacy big red 1200x2 amp and sony h.u in a 76' chevy caprice. its ok for now im looking for a hifonics brutis 1200d to replace the trash i have now. but my system and car are a work in progress .ive been looking around on here and have been in amazement at sum things and i think this is a good place to feed my BASS addiction lol

Hello just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I am an SQ enthusiast and from the UK. I am lucky to be with Team Hybrids and run the following system: Pioneer DEX-P99RS Headunit. 2 Genesis DMX amps one bridged on a FI IB3 12 and one running Hybrid Audio L6s Sinfoni 45.2x running Genesis R1 tweeters, Sinfoni 90.2 running Hybrid Audio L3s This is mounted in a Mazda 3 saloon. I have used various bits n pieces and am hopefully getting to a stage where now I can set a system up for competition. I hope to learn more about car audio and share my knowledge / experience.
