Hello everyone. Just checking in. Guess I'll be popping in over here every once in a while. Had a Magnum 12 in my Trans Am for quite a while. Have met Nick and he's a great guy with a great product and I hope to one day have his stuff in my car again. Maybe a set of 307s with a SI selected 6.5" midbass along with the sub I wish they'd build, but more on that later. Can check out info about me at http://hometown.aol.com/sqtransam and the links therein. Not alot past that, 2002 MECA TN State SQ Champion and World Finals 2nd place, SQ guy really, but its nice to throw down every once in a while. Anyways, thats about it. I'll end with a letter to one of only two company owner…

Hey guys, My name is John. I currently am spending my summer in Tucson, AZ. The drying out state of all. I go to college in Dallas, Tx. I have been looking to upgrade my car audio system and heard this was the place to be for knowledge. Seeing how so much has changed since the last system I put together (10 years ago) I felt it was necessary to re-educate myself. I appreciate any knowledge I can absorb from here. Thanks everyone - John

This isnt one of my first topics but my first on the sign in board lol. I'm currently documenting my project as it goes along, but when I start my third re-build I'll start an official build log if I like it enough to post. Looking forward to meeting more members from the delaware/tristate area as well as more competitions/shows!

Designing a build, been out of the game a long time. Looking for any/all ideas suggestions ect. Goal is overall loudness, and daily deep big bass. No one burp comps. However want to be earth shaking as possible within area. Sub box going to be behind the rear seat and top of box not higher than back of seat. I plan to pot this build and look forward to all input.

Happened to stumble across this board in my search for a set of subs and an amp for my pickup. Got my truck runnin at 700hp but it has no bass! Cant be having that... I plan to build a fiberglass sealed box under the rear seat of my 2003 4 door dodge 2500. It should net me at least 1.75ft3, so most likely looking at .75ft3+ per sub box. Being in my twenties i listen to rock, rap, hip hop, country, classic rock. Im just looking for decently hard hitting bass when i want to crank it up. Not looking for top of the line sound/equipment that will cost an arm and a leg. Looking to spend no more than $300 or so on two 10's, plus an affordable amp that will push the subs to thei…

Hello guys, Looking to do my first semi big build consisting of focal expert 6.5 components up front, almani audio 6.5 rears for midbass, pioneer gm-d8604 amp, Sony xav-712hd DVD player, DC 5.0k amp running @ .5ohm, and a DD 9915 with super charge option although I'm not stuck on running the DD because I have two AA team 18s I could run...decisions! I'll be running a mechman 240a alternator, group 24 agm and 2 H8 agm Batts in the rear with 2 runs (or more?) of 2/0 front to back in my 2007 4runner. My question, how do I got about wiring the front batt to the rear, could I use a bus bar in the rear that ties the two positive terminals of the rear Batts togeth…

HI guys, I have tried searching for this problem but can't find the answer so here I am. I had recently installed an amp (boss audio chaos rev455) to power my front door speakers and tweeters (power acoustik nb-4). I put the amp in the trunk, because it wouldnt fit under the front seats and ran the rca's and the speaker wire along the passenger side of the car and power wire and remote down the drivers side. When i start the car i get this quiet very fast intermitten noise out of the tweeters. The sound does not increase with rpms, or volume, it stays constant and cannot be heard in the door speakers. Also the speakers that are connected to this amp pop when i shut the ca…

Well, if any of you might recognize my name, it's because I'm not exactly new to car audio or forums lol. I just haven't been on SSA yet. A friend told me to check it out, so why not. Glad to see some new faces and a new forum for a hobby and industry I'm so passionate about. I'm sure I'll answer as many questions as I can, more than I'll ask most likely. And I'm sure hanging out and shooting the shit will happen often enough as well. I look forward to checking things out and talking it up, guys.
