Hi all. I just purchased a 2010 Dodge Ram crew cab laramie and am looking to outfit it with a nice SQ oriented sound system. My first truck was an old 97 f150 single cab with a full memphis setup. My second truck was an 07 sport trac with CDT es-62i components and a jl8w3 ported sub. I am not a total newb when it comes to car audio but at the same time there is always room to learn more and that is what I plan on doing as I ask questions about what I should run in this setup. This site looks very promising.

I found SSA through online reputation alone, and have come to respect it so much that i grabbed both the IC2200.1 and the IC150.4, as well as the new ICON and im excited to pick brains while i put this all together.. I own a 97 Ford Explorer XLT w/ 121k and a 2000 Ford Contour SVT that's getting a new engine w/ 5,800 on the clock. I love working on my car to get a good blend of performance, appearance and audio. I do almost all my own work - just pulled the 2.5 engine out and dropping in a 3.0. I should be handing many a car their asses once it's done. Like the title says, I've always had systems in my cars and followed forums like SSA and SMD back in high school, for the past couple of years I've cut back and now I'm started to put together a new setup for the spring. Currently I'm running a Kicker ZX700.5 with Diamond Audio components in the front doors, Alpine Type R 6x9's in the rear deck and a DC lvl 3 12".
