Hi I'm frasierraheen, I use to come on these forum use to look at build logs to step my game up. I 've been doing the car audio thing since 96 when I was like 13. I learn about car audio in the kuntry where we used extension cords for power wires and house stereos for subs. I know that crazy, but I got out that. I 'm in the army so I’m all over the place so my location may change a bit so don't write me off as a scamer. My ride is a 91 accord wagon 5-spd, with a h23 blue top vtec. My music was 2 Ma audio hard core hk-4000ds, 4 kinetic 2600, 2 massive audio 400.4, 2 audiobahns component sets , 4 soundstream 6x9's, 100 ft Fatmat, pioneer premier 760 , and 1 Atomic AP…

I'm a new member of the site, but I've been trolling for quite a while. I have a system in the works consisting of two True bass solutions 8" subs (when they arrive) and a sundown SAE-1000D. I've got about 150-200 bucks for some good 6.5" comps so if you've got any suggestions, post them up!

I drive a 2003 Hyunda Tiburon GT. I've heard from one person that 18" subs don't do so well in smaller cars. I was looking for some more input on this subject. I have a 15" RD Sonance currently that does just fine, but I've been looking into some Fi Subs and I'm considering the possibility of maybe a 15" or 18" Q or bl. Anyone have any suggestions on a sub and a size? LOL. Thanks everyone! Corey

Just checking in, new to the forum. Ive been into car audio every since i heard a wall with 12 10inch JBL's, in a 1973 impala with primer paint job, and 13inch Dayton wheels, 10 years ago lol. I do have quite a bit of knowledge of car audio/video design and whatnot. I mainly knew about mainstream, "household" name brand companies, up until a couple years ago. I lurked around a couple other sites, and i found them not really helpful ( too much bashing others and off the topic talk ). This is the best one i ran into plus it has manufacture boards which i find very helpful

Hi, I'm new to SSA but I'm on lots of other forums (12volt, clublexus, lexusownersclub, b20vtech, ect.) under the same screen name. I have completed a few very basic automotive audio setups in the past but I figure this is probably a great place to stay up to date. I also build custom enclosures for friends and sometimes other people with deep pockets. I'm unemployed at the moment so I may be on here often for info, advice and general forum BS. My current vehicle is a 2002 Lexus GS300 with a Kenwood DNX7100 HU wired up to a soundstream vangogh and JL500 amp pushing Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5 components upfront and Polk Audio MMC6500 tweeters and crossovers paired wi…

Hey guys, new to to the board. Much like a lot of other noobs around here I'm joining to learn as much as I can about mobile audio. I've always loved car audio, and known most of the good dependable brands, but I've never quite learned how it all works. Unlike most guys here I dont have the knowledge to even attempt installing a full system by myself. But thats why I'm here, cuz I love all this stuff and really want to learn. I'll probably be doing more reading than posting but still wanted to introduce myself, wus up everybody!

I have been searching for a forum now for quite a while that can help me with my many questions. This seems like the place to be out of all of the other choices. I have had a few trial and error runs with audio systems in the past and now it is time to become a little more serious. Thanks in advance for all of the help I hope to receive!

Hi all, new to the site. Just got interested in car audio so my wife and I could listen to our mp3 players during our daily commute. Now I'm hooked and I'm in the process of building a decent system for my car. So far I've got a JCV-KDS100 headunit (a little underwhelmed with that now) and some Phoenix Gold RSD65cs components up front (very impressed with those). Currently in the process of buying an amp for the front stage, then maybe something for rear fill...and if I can hide it from my wife...perhaps a subwoofer in the near future. Great to be here, I've already learned a ton before even posting this.
