I'm trying to get the " right " info on building my on system.

Im new!

Hi all, new to the site. Just got interested in car audio so my wife and I could listen to our mp3 players during our daily commute. Now I'm hooked and I'm in the process of building a decent system for my car. So far I've got a JCV-KDS100 headunit (a little underwhelmed with that now) and some Phoenix Gold RSD65cs components up front (very impressed with those). Currently in the process of buying an amp for the front stage, then maybe something for rear fill...and if I can hide it from my wife...perhaps a subwoofer in the near future. Great to be here, I've already learned a ton before even posting this.

So i figured since it has been so long since i have been on here that i should post in the newbie section saying im back. I recently moved out of my dads house and got my own duplex. just got internet today so i should be a frequent poster for a awhile again. just for and update i got a Kinetik 1400 from a buddy for temp use and damn i have never seen so much raw power from and amp. I just figured i would present myself as being back on ssa!

Whats up all! I am about to purchase build new system and I am starting with the low end. I want great sound quality, reliability and lots of output! Big 3 (Optima 750CCA and factory 90amp alternator) Alpine CDA-9887 Alumapro Cap5 V2 I dont know which amp yet but I have it narrowed down to these two choices Sundown SAZ-1500D US Amps 400DE I think I am going with one 15" subwoofer and I have narrowed it down to these three choices RE SX15 Fi BTL 15 SSA XCON 15D2 What amp and sub combo do you think would be best? All three subs seem great and both amps are excellent, any advice?

On many other forums such as ****, ca, roe, diyma. Figured i might as well hop on over here and check things out. Hopefully there are knowledgeable people here. Im in the Orlando Florida area, more specifically around the Winter Springs, Oviedo, UCF, Altamonte, Sanford area ha . Thanks

Ok well im new on this forum but have been on ca.com since 05. I heard about this site as i was searching Fiaudio's myspace page. I just thought I would come over and see what this site had to offer.

i signed up here earlier this yr & had less than a 100 posts but i'm not sure if i messed up with my user name or pass word so i had to create a new acct i'm in car audio a few yrs now & enjoy every aspect of it , i also occasionally compete in spl too im here to learn even more from this forum

Search done . No results found for 'who is ssa'. Just want to know who is SSA, where just looking over the site i recognize some usernames from other sites yet never seen them with the product at shows they have attended. I would love to see these subs in action considering the company is in my "backyard" and from what i can see so far the prices are "reasonable".

hey i'm new here to the forums I discovered this website while on youtube and i doubt i'll ever leave. There so much information floating around on this website its amazing compared to most car audio sites where you have to sort though like 20 topics to find something decent. Anyway right now im just running a very basic setup which is a Alpine 9984 hu, 2 Kicker CVR 10's on a Rockford Fosgate 600watt amp, and some Pioneer door speakers in my 98' F150 extended cab. But soon i'm hoping to upgrade to hopefully a icon 15 with a sundown 1000d amp (the package on the ssa store website) anyway i just wanted to say hi to all!

hey new here, I just finished the install on my single cab truck. I'm running two 10" Fi Q's in a ported box tuned to 36hrz and a Hifonics BXI 2006D amp. My head unit is a Pioneer AVH D4000 DVD. I think it turned out alright. I'm looking at components right now probably Premier or Focal with Fosgate amp. I'll get some pics up for you guys shortly. Ryan

Hey guys and gals. Just signed up so here is my official introduction. My names Mike, I'm a 36 year old family man and have been into audio since the late 80's. I got sucked into it by my much older brother who was an installer back in the 80's and early 90's and had a love for it way before I could drive. I got out of it all together for several years when I started a family and then dove back in a couple years a go when I started building up my 06 Sierra to go to shows. Looking forward to being part of your community here.

Whats up guys? I've always had a car stereo system, just the basic mainstream stuff and here lately I've been really getting into the unknown brands of car audio. Unknown where I live anyways. I just acquired anightshade 18 and am going to purchase another one and see how long it takes to beat my truck to death. I'm not here to pretend like I know it all or anything like that, I'm here to learn from the best! Please school the youngster guys. Anyways thought I'd make my presence known and say hi to everybody.

So idk but i guess this is what im going to buy. two BL 12's along with a saz1500d amp Now for the features Ohm:2 P Chamfer:? Cooling: Yes Daily: Daily I Heat ring:? Universal? So the ones with "?" what should i do? and everything else seems good? Other then that i would need a box and some wiring... and i guess the big 3 upgrade?
