Hey everyone. Recently i jumped back into the market for car audio and came across this lovely little SA-8. After reading countless reviews and testimonials i decided to bite and purchased one. Now that it is here and weighing down my table its time to get a box designed and get it into my Lada! (yes.. i said Lada) Cant wait to hear what it sounds like. Hey guys what's goin on? Been a while hasn't it? I know I wasn't really here a whole lot to begin with but I've been SUPER busy with everything as of late and just now have time to reacquaint myself with my computer so how's the SWVA WVA people been????? ive actually been here since 2009, lurking and ive been competing since 07 i mainly run SS3-4 my last build was a atomic sled nicknamed the q it was 4 15's and 10kw, not some of my cleanest work but ive improved since then i was posting 155's right now my daily driver is a 03 civic lx no exterior mods, couple dings and dents (it was my 89 year old grandmas car) it does have a new engine in it, out of an 09 so i get 35-40mpg ( i blew the old one on a spontaneous vegas trip (long story)) it has 2 RE8's in it on a 80w amp, the 8's are in a T line box, i get people asking me how many 15's i have in it im a mechanical engineering/computer sciences guy i double majored in coll…

Hey guys I am new to this site and I need help picking out a new sub. I currently have a alpine type r 15 and looking to get a new sub. I had a kicker zx500.1 on it but I just recently bought a Rockford T1000-1bdcp. I was looking at the Fi SSD 15 or the SSA Icon 15? Which Sub would sound better?hit harder? The sub would go in a 3.75ft box Net, tuned to 35hz.

Hello all, i'm not necessarily new here but just got around to posting an introduction. I frequent a few other car audio forums and can say i have became an addict. My ride is nothing special, i own a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero GX (base edition). She has 110,000 miles on her and still running like a champ. Audio-wise, i am running: Head Unit - Kenwood KDC-MP538u Amplifier - Hifonics BXi1610d Subwoofers - Two old' school 15" Petra Prowlers sealed. One run of 1/0 to the rear with The Big Three done up in 1/0. Right now I have two Kicker Comp 10's on about 484w RMS in a sealed down fire box thats about .75ft^3 per chamber. I will soon have an SSA Icon powered by an audioque 1200D in a 2.5ft^3 ported box tuned to 33htz. My two channel amp and infinity reference 6.5" components should be here soon to take care of the highs and midbass

Hey Guys I am new to your forum. Seems like I got alot of reading to do. I am currently doing a install in my 2000 F250. Useing a older Alpine MRV-F400 V12 for up front and a MB Quart monoblock for the sub. Also have a older Hifonics Zeus II that I am not sure how to incoroporate into the system yet...The head unit is still undecided as of yet too. Well everyone's title was "Hello", so I decided to do things a little different. Anyway I have a car, it has my second system in it. It is an old maxima and came with a Bose system. I thought it sounded great, until it crapped out and since it had 1-ohm speakers, it meant getting a head unit and new speakers too. That was maybe 2 years ago, so now I'm rolling in my ultra-budget system. It's more of an experiment always in progress. This week I sealed my doors and also got the circuit diagram for and built a PWM LED Dimmer so I can make my ride ultra-sexy for the ladies. lol. I heard bout ssa from an audio demo at the fire it up car show in peoria. i got a single cab ranger with 3 12" california profile cx 12's powered by a 1000 watt koiiler 2 ch. amp. then a 500 watt insignia 2 ch. for the door speakers. haven't installed the door speakers. lookin forward for the ssa 8" decon's. id put 3 in my truck for sure. well thats bout it. thanks.

Hello All, I was an installer at a local shop back when I was in high school. We sold mostly JL audio, Audiobahn, JVC, Power Acoustic and a few others I forgot. I am glad I found the site it seems they have more of an informative group here compared to some of the other forums related to this subject.
