Signed up as I'm setting up my '96 Bronco. Was in the mobile audio game in the 90's but have been out for a while. Working on collecting the equipment I don't yet have but need.

hey guys i'am new to the forum but i'am glad o found it, i own a 94 toyota supra and is looking to upgrade the music in it. i'am very undecided when it come to speaker choice so can you guys give me some feed back on some of the speakers you guys use. i have some in mind but would like to know what you guys think, i like the o2 audio or arc audio. if you guys think you found better speakers than these let me know, name brand not important because i know that some no name stuff sound better than name brand stuff.

Hi everybody. After almost two years of following/searching the thread I've decided to start posting. I'm in Broken Arrow, OK and have been addicted to all things audio for as long as I can remember. Outside of mobile audio I build tube/valve amplifiers and hornloaded loudspeakers.

i have 1 15 inch ascendant audio havoc....it dosent have much play on it.the basket is broke on it and it seems to be over heating.i hit a 143.1 on a term lab though ,even broke..the question is ....a friend of mine just offer me 300$ cash for it even though it is broke.if i do sell 300$ is all i have to spend on a new sub....should i sell...recone and get the basket fixed?if i do sell i was looking at a ssa icon 18 or 15 ....same rms but will it be just as loud or louder......any suggestions for subs ....they are going into a trunk of a grand prix....just scared that its going to pop due to the basket being broke and it over heating.

I am 49 years old and have been fooling with this stuff for over 30 years as an amateur. I recently built my best system yet. I'm not totally a noob, but I'm no expert either. Hey guys I'm Leon username LSpindenIII Have been here a few times but just now signing up. I am in the South Eastern area of Minnesota I have a 97 Chevy Cavalier that I am still working on. Current setup is a Elemental Designs 13AV.2 off a Hifonics Brutus BXi2006D. I also have a 96 Pontiac Sunfire GT. It is going to be my track car mainly. Currently is all stock except it's fully gutted and added an intake. Future plans is getting another 2.4 and tranny, doing a motor build with all forged internals, port and polished head, oversized valves, secret cams, then slapping on a supercharger and water/meth injection.

I'm new to this particular forum, I've been on caraudio.com and diyma for a while now, and I figured I may as well register here too! I drive a '96 S10 Blazer, and all I have in my vehicle now is two True Bass Solutions Ultra 8" subs in a 1.75 ft^3 enclosure tuned to 33 hz, and a Sundown SAE-1000D amplifier. I have an old school Zed-made US Acoustics USA-2075 2-channel and an old school Eclipse 3241 4-channel waiting to be used in a 3-way active setup, but I am undecided on the drivers I will use, so if you have any suggestions as to what 8" midbass, midrange, or tweeter are good, feel free to post them here or PM me. Alright I have a 02 KIA Spectra, the alternator I am running is 300 amp. I have 4 cubeic box with two 12inch Zv4's. Its tuned to 45hz. I have recently upgraded my amp from a Hifonics Brutus 2500wtt to Sundown 4000 watt amp. I also have a XS power D3100 battery. All the wiring is 1/0 gauge. I am being told from friends that its fine for running a burp in competition, but not enough power for demos or sustand listening. I think I should be ok? Just second guessing myself. Hopefully I gave enough info?
