hey all, I'm just joining the forum for some advice and tips on an upcoming stereo install that i'm gonna do when i get home. I'm currently deployed and have picked out some audio equipment and am just looking for confirmation on it being a decent set up. Hope to be able to contribute some as well. Thanks, James

checkin in from central ohio . 96 s10 , walkthru . undecided on subs as of yet . pretty set on 4 15's or 18's . cant figure out box for the 4 18's . still working on it though . anyways . im here! lol

Yep...Santa did it this year: 2 x 18 Fi Bl -Dual 1, Cooling, Flatwind, Daily, Non-universal. Sundown Saz-3000d (thanks acex3a) 180max/135idle Iraggi alternator ~40' of 1/0 welding wire still need to get some 1/0 battery terminals and clamps for 1/0 big three and a new battery under the hood. dunno if I want to tackle the box this time around, might just have a shop do it. planning on doing ~15 cubes after displacement, and tuned to 32 or 33 hz. I know nothing about sound acoustics, and the effects of internal design. so plain jane rectangle is gonna have to jive for now.

ive actually been here since 2009, lurking and ive been competing since 07 i mainly run SS3-4 my last build was a atomic sled nicknamed the q it was 4 15's and 10kw, not some of my cleanest work but ive improved since then i was posting 155's right now my daily driver is a 03 civic lx no exterior mods, couple dings and dents (it was my 89 year old grandmas car) it does have a new engine in it, out of an 09 so i get 35-40mpg ( i blew the old one on a spontaneous vegas trip (long story)) it has 2 RE8's in it on a 80w amp, the 8's are in a T line box, i get people asking me how many 15's i have in it im a mechanical engineering/computer sciences guy i double majored in coll…

Happened to stumble across this board in my search for a set of subs and an amp for my pickup. Got my truck runnin at 700hp but it has no bass! Cant be having that... I plan to build a fiberglass sealed box under the rear seat of my 2003 4 door dodge 2500. It should net me at least 1.75ft3, so most likely looking at .75ft3+ per sub box. Being in my twenties i listen to rock, rap, hip hop, country, classic rock. Im just looking for decently hard hitting bass when i want to crank it up. Not looking for top of the line sound/equipment that will cost an arm and a leg. Looking to spend no more than $300 or so on two 10's, plus an affordable amp that will push the subs to thei…

New to the site from Oregon. Recently bought a work car, It had an amp (infinty reference) and subs(12" alpines) in it already. I had no idea bass could be so much fun . As a 45 yr old late bloomer I'm hoping to learn a litte to feed my latest obsession.

This isnt one of my first topics but my first on the sign in board lol. I'm currently documenting my project as it goes along, but when I start my third re-build I'll start an official build log if I like it enough to post. Looking forward to meeting more members from the delaware/tristate area as well as more competitions/shows!

Hey guys I am new to this site and I need help picking out a new sub. I currently have a alpine type r 15 and looking to get a new sub. I had a kicker zx500.1 on it but I just recently bought a Rockford T1000-1bdcp. I was looking at the Fi SSD 15 or the SSA Icon 15? Which Sub would sound better?hit harder? The sub would go in a 3.75ft box Net, tuned to 35hz.
