Newly converted to FIcarudio products by xconcepts from caraudio i am wondering what is the min power requirement for the SSD's i will be replacing a pair JL Audio 10w3v2's in a sealed enlosure of 0.65 which are both being powered by a JL Audio 500/1 , and being unfermiliar with the FIcarudio subs , i'm wondering will a pair of 10 "SSD's work properly being connected and boxed the same way ?? The Jl's were rated 300 W each , will the amp be sufficient for these two SSD's to perform properly ? Will also be adding a pair of 10 " 2 ohm BL's each connected individually to it's own Alpine PDX 1000.1 in a ported enclosure tuned at 32 , will add P chamfer , cooling , Flatwin…

Hello guys, Looking to do my first semi big build consisting of focal expert 6.5 components up front, almani audio 6.5 rears for midbass, pioneer gm-d8604 amp, Sony xav-712hd DVD player, DC 5.0k amp running @ .5ohm, and a DD 9915 with super charge option although I'm not stuck on running the DD because I have two AA team 18s I could run...decisions! I'll be running a mechman 240a alternator, group 24 agm and 2 H8 agm Batts in the rear with 2 runs (or more?) of 2/0 front to back in my 2007 4runner. My question, how do I got about wiring the front batt to the rear, could I use a bus bar in the rear that ties the two positive terminals of the rear Batts togeth…

Just wanted to check in and say hello to everybody here. Anyways.... I'm not exactly a car audiophile but I do enjoy bass. Currently running 2 sa-12s powered by 1 sax-1200d. Not much car audio going on here in Taiwan, so that means not too much help. Was hoping to learn a few things while I was here. Thx for reading!

After my first post (missed this part of the site) I decided that instead of asking which would be best why not learn the ins and outs of a subwoofer and what all of the specs actually mean. I have really picked up a lot from this site, it is my favorite audio site by far.

My first one was a set of infinity perfect 12's, a ca600, panasoic dfx-983u, mb quart discus 6x9 for the rear and a set of pioneer 2 ways up front in a toyota corolla. Hey all what's going on? Been quite a while since I was last on here. Had a nice AIM convo with Dave Edwards and that got me back to checking out the board. I've just been so damn busy since I moved back to my parents house 2 years ago. I'm going to school, working 25+hours a week, coaching high school football and baseball, playing hockey and softball, along with trying to have a life. To say the least I'm a bit busy. I'm going to try to dedicate some time to checking the board atleast a few times a week. Just wanted to let the few that do know me that I'm back.

Hey everybody i finally got around to registering here. i have been a fan of this forum for a while just been to lazy to join.

So many moons ago i was a member of TeamSSA with my wife's 2004 Mitshubishi Lancer Ralliart. Things happened and i got out of the car scene. Now I'm back and rocking my 1st gen. XCON in a sealed box of after displacement and bracing 2.8cuft3. on a Audiopipe APCL1800.1, this thing is a beast. I forgot how the XCON behaves and got tingles the first time it did its job in my 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX. I was running it ported on a 3.8cuft3 box tuned at 32 hz in the wife's old car. Besides the loss of incredible lows thats the only thing thats different, it handles completely different. It's way more punchy, has alot more response to it. could be amp choice but i think like ever…
